Foot-Long has opened an un-ban appeal

Admin that banned you (Check ban message when you connect to the servers): Vacatio
In your own words, Why do you think you was banned: The message states I was banned because of poor rp/rdm
Please copy and paste the rule you think you broke: 3B) RDM - Random Death Match Definition:
Shooting at someone without engaging in any form of quality role play (eg. Giving enough time for them to comply with your order) is considered RDM. (Punishment is a ban)

Please give reasons why we should give you a final chance: As I have not been presented with the evidence I can only speculate that my RP was not sufficient enough before carrying out a kill. I would like to add that in my defence I play on my own 90% of the time and farm alone. If I killed someone with poor RP please respect that it is hard to stay calm (even in game) when people are trying to rob you.

I would like to suggest that Altislife.co.uk review it's rules of engagement in regards to defending yourself from criminals trying to commit an unlawful act. For example when a player is farming and is being actively hunted down. Surely it is obvious that the individual or group are trying to take from you.... would you wait until a crime is committed on you in 'real life' before acting or react accordingly. If someone is in your house and you did not invite them should you wait for them to rob you before acting?

As you can see no communication / warning at all. And if you think the police asking (Someone,take into account they no nothing about the person who might be there) to come out with there hands up is enough rp to mow them down its not. At least tell them to leave or something at least before killing a cop or any other player.

I am struggling to remember the full scenario but I can see why this officer is pissed and even for me this was stupid. Love his reaction on the video lol.

Its a clear cut case of RDM, there is no RP here

Will reply here in around 24 hours, You need a timeout from the server before we let you back on for a FINAL chance, this is a serious RP community and i expect members to RP and interact before pressing the trigger.

Terms of your unban in 24 hours will be not going near a gun for an entire month, learn to RP again as thats what we are about.

 
Thank you for giving me another chance but as for not going near a gun for a month that is a little ridiculous isn't it? How can you test my Role Play in regards to the subject of the ban if I cannot prove that  I am normally a good RP player in these given situations? I panicked and made a mistake.

I have been playing on your server for nearly two months and this is my first case of RDM.

I cannot do anything on my own without the protection of a weapon, people already bully me when I farm... it will be rape without a gun for defence.

Please can you at least consider what I am saying. If you let me have a gun and I abuse that right again then I know I am permanently banned. Is that not enough punishment.

Please note I am a donator so this is obviously not my aim to get banned. I want to be part of this community and I think my donations prove that. I made a mistake in a moment of panic, which I would like to think you can understand as a reasonable person?

Don't worry about the un-ban... I asked for help in the help office and basically got told to fuck off so not sure if I want to continue donating and playing on a server with such rude people

Did the person in the help office have the word [Mentor] after their name? If not, they certainly couldn't have helped.

If they did have the tag, I'm 100% sure they wouldn't have said anything rude towards you. Mentors cannot unban people, so I'm assuming that they said they are unable to, and so told you as such as you got annoyed. 

Wilco is being very kind in doing a 24 hour time out - this is probably one of the first times he has done a temporary ban...

Hi Daanish. Yes I totally agree Wilco is being kind giving me a short ban. I am a good RP player and just panicked in the moment. If you watch there was no sirens. I would like to think we all get a second chance. I just wish PCSO Sheppard would have messaged me and we could have discussed it rather than take it straight to the forums. I will happily compensate Sheppard

On the subject of TS. Yes it was a mentor and yes I understand now that he could not have helped but it was the attitude. Picking at me for what I done and criticising my appeal. I didn't come to TS to get bullied I came for help. I will not give the name of the mentor as I, unlike some others, believe that a man to man chat can also resolve issues.

I know I'm not supposed to get involved here, but since I'm being mentioned I hope it's OK.

I did try to get in touch with you, but you were not on TeamSpeak. Perhaps you should consider connecting to the TeamSpeak server whenever you are playing? It would solve any future issues, such as this one. I have no interest in compensation, all police gear is free.

Good luck with your unban appeal, I hope to see you in-game soon enough.
