I was banned for VMDing and retreating to GZ to avoid being robbed.

Why should we unban you ?
While my respose was not acceptable (and even bannable) and i can stand by that 100%. I was being chased by armed men trying to rob me, shooting at me and that put me in alot of stress and i reacted as if my life was in danger.

Im fairly new to this server but i was really looking forward to get into it and do my best to contribute to the roleplay. I have reread the rules and are now aware of them, what i did was wrong and i want to give my full forgivness to the community.

Please explain what it was you did wrong, and why it was wrong.  Then once you've done that, please copy and paste the specific rules you broke then in your own words, explain what you think they mean.

Lastly, when you log into the game, there is a blatant warning that this is a strict, rule based server. Why didn't you read the rules?

I run someone over with a truck to avoid being robbed, it is wrong to do so because of VDMing (rule 2.1). I went to a GZ to avoid being robbed (rule 6.1.6). 

Rule 2.1 [SIZE=medium]"Vehicle Deathmatch (also known as VDM) - Using any vehicle as a weapon (e.g running people over, causing explosions including while sling loading, ramming, etc), will result in you receiving a ban. Three vehicles are excluded from this, MRAPS (Ifrits, Hunters and Striders) can ram other MRAPS in order to disable them, yet not to kill the passengers. This is allowed as these vehicles are the only vehicles ingame that can withstand being rammed. Please note that you need to initiate roleplay before attempting to ram an MRAP. (Please note - MRAPS don't need to be initiated on in the redzone) This is to prevent random ramming on site. (Three minutes of chasing also constitutes initiation of MRAP and MRAP ramming)."


As its says, to use your vehicle as a weapon (with some vehicles being an exeption if you first initiate) in order to harm or greif/troll.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=medium]Rule 6.1.6 [/SIZE] [SIZE=medium]"You must not exploit the green zone to avoid ongoing hostile roleplay. Retreating into a green zone is forbidden."[/SIZE] [SIZE=medium] [/SIZE]

I have noticed the pop-up, and i feel dumb for ignoring it. In the future i will of course be more observant, and also handle stressful situations like this better.... 

 

 
next time if you get in the same situation, How will you deal with this? 

 
Next time this happens i will not go in to GZ to avoid roleplay, and i will not use VDM just to get away.

Best way to deal with this is to stick to the roleplay and obey the rules of the server. I realised sometimes you will get robbed and thats just roleplay so nothing to try to break the rules for.

As you've found out to your cost, this is a community based on strict rules. Disregarding them has consequences, and once banned, that ban stays on your record permanently. When deciding on whether someone deserves another chance, we look to see what previous bans or warnings they may have and we take this heavily into consideration. In other words, if you find yourself back here putting in an unban appeal in the future you'll find it much harder to get unbanned.
