Yesterday, probably around 4AM my time (BST + 3), I was playing on Server 1 with a friend when I was shot, and while I was bleeding out I decided to call for help from the NHS, except I did it in Out of Character chat. For no apparent reason, I ended up putting a few stupid things in chat, one of which contained the word that I believe I was banned for (hence the discrimination ban. If the reason for banning was anything other than that one word then at this moment in time I can't remember).

Why should we unban you ?
To be perfectly honest, I wasn't familiar with the rules regarding OOC and what you can and can't put in it (or in any other chat, for that matter), though looking back on it now it does seem like common sense. There's not really any point writing sob stories or anything, but these servers are the only reason that I own this game and honestly, for that reason, I would never try to cause trouble with the sole intent of getting banned (like some people would). What I did was completely an accident and was totally unnecessary and I seriously never intend to ever do anything like it again, in fact I never intended to ever upset anyone in the first place, but I can of course see why people would get offended or upset at what I wrote.
I've since had a read of the rules, and I suppose all I can really do in this position is ask for one more chance, but I wouldn't be surprised if this appeal is denied after reading the 1.2 rule. I'm just sorry and I'd really appreciate another chance.

Why did you found it necessary to add that word to your sentence? 

 
Honestly, it was 100% not necessary and as I've expressed already I should not have done it, and for that I can't apologise enough. I don't know what I was doing, to be perfectly honest, I was just playing with a friend and for some dumb reason I thought I'd get a laugh out of it (couldn't have been more wrong...).
So yeah, it really wasn't necessary and I don't know why I found it as such. I really just want to get back into this game and continue doing what I was, with my friend, before all this happened (plan was to play it through summer like last year).

 
I will make sure to stay in roleplay on direct communication and also whenever I'm using the OOC chat I will only use it to ask people questions about the game instead of chatting with them and using unnecessary language.

 
Do you understand you could offend people by saying things like that?

Of course I understand that. I'm deeply sorry for what I did.

The rule I broke as I understand it is:
(1.2) Discrimination of any kind is punished by a permanent ban without appeal.

I'm really sorry for this, and there really isn't much else I can do to apologise.
 

 
Yes, I'm very aware that the norm is a ban without appeal, but I thought I'd give it a shot purely for the fact that I meant no harm by what I said (even though, yes, I am aware that it was a stupid thing to say and of course it could've offended people) and that I'm a serious roleplayer and that I'm serious about wanting to rejoin the server with the intent of following rules and playing the game as it is meant to be played.

Of course you don't have to let me back in, but I really would appreciate a second chance to prove my worth as a member of the community. I won't ever intend to break rules due to the fact that I love these servers, and I believe they are probably the best Altis Life servers.
