The rule I broke: 2.2 (Failure to provide quality roleplay before engaging.)
I was banned due a completely preventable string of events that were ultimately my fault. My friends and I (Their names may have been Tomas and LaB ) were staking out a processor waiting for a truck to pull up. When one did I tried to initiate with the driver and told him to stop the truck and get out, while I walked up to the cab. He drove off so in Discord I tell my teammates to fire at the wheels, but he got away. Unfortunately as I find out later he didnt hear me because my microphone was spotty, so I failed to initiate. Ive bought two new headsets since, its no longer an issue.
The second part of my team's Fail RP is when we were waiting for another truck several minutes later, and LaB was shot from far away by the driver. He was upset and complained about being RDMed on mic.
Why should we unban you ?
I was very quick to try and resolve the fail rp with the driver, immediatly talking to him on the teamspeak and apologising. He accepted my apology and my compensation offer, but only if the rest of my team apologised too. I explained to them that we were in the wrong and it was my fault that I didn't initiate properly, but they were annoyed that the driver returned and shot us without warning, then executed us infront of the police, so they refused to apologise.
I didn't have proper experience roleplaying with Tomas before but he has since been banned for abuse in the OOC. I really enjoyed the server and was angry when he got me banned, and despite him being a close friend I havent spoken or played with him for almost a year now. I have always been confident in my RP, and now I have friends who have been on the server for a very long time who I wish to play with. I miss the only quality platform which supports this type of play.
