Someone stole my Hemmit from a green zone and I said in chat "to the person who stole my hemmit from the garrage, you better bring it back before I report you." Probably called him names too but it was quite some time ago.

Why should we unban you ?
As you can see above its been over a year since I got banned, it would be pretty terrible if I hadn't matured in 13 months... It was just something silly that I did off the cuff without really thinking about it and was obviously not a good idea. I'm sure you can understand why it would be frustrating though to have someone break the rules against you. I know now obviously that the correct way to handle this would be to gather evidence and just submit a report as I threatened to do instead of calling him out in chat.

There isn't a whole lot I can say about such a stupid mistake only that its clear in hindsight that it was a dumb thing to do and should I be unbanned it wouldn't happen again and also that I have grown up a considerable amount since the ban as would be expected considering I was just a kid at the time.

I'm hopeful that all of this considered I will get a second chance at it. I haven't played Arma at all since I got banned because I lost interested due to not being able to find a community that was any good.

(2.8) Threats to report / disputes / Breaking RP in Voice. There are so many people on the server with all different points of view and disputes and disagreements are all part of the game, however please do not discuss them in-game also do not break RP in voice. For example if someone has RDM’ed you discussing this on the server or saying “I am going to report you” is not allowed. Please use the forums or teamspeak to report or discuss only (Punishment is a ban) Exception: You may contact someone using the text system if they are not on teamspeak or on the forums. Please only attempt to make this contact in effort to resolve the issue, not to antagonise the other player/users/members.

That's the rule, it is what it says  on the tin. Dn't threaten to report someone and instead sort it out maturely on Teamspeak or the forums.

Don't swear at people. There is no explaining here to do. I didnt submit an unban request to try and explain why I did it or to justify it and that is in no way beneficial to ensuring better behaviour. Simply put I shouldn't have done it and won't do it again as it was a stupid and immature thing to do. Not sure what you want me to say seen as there is nothing to gain from swearing at or shouting pointless abuse at people regardless of whether or not they themselves are playing by the rules.
