In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
I was banned for shooting a guy who was robbing my friend in defense while he started to run towards me.

Why should we unban you ?
I should be unbanned because I understand my mistake even though at the time I thought it was fair the way I RP'd I know now that I should have just gave him fair warning, I really want to play on this server again and I feel like I have waited long enough to be given a second chance, I promise I looked through all the rules and I promise I will not break another one again.

@dylanzoog can you, to the best of your memory, describe why you were banned in the first place, highlighting the mistakes you may which led to your ban, and what you would do differently if you were unbanned. - We really require significantly more effort in the unban appeal process, this shows us that you are serious about returning to the community.

 
I was banned for RDM which was because I killed a player who was robbing my friend without giving him proper warning and without making myself known. My first mistake was to not warn them that I am armed and dangerous and second mistake was to jump out at him and kill him while he was robbing my friend, if I was in this situation now I would do it very differently I would, warn them that I will shoot if I need to and if it came to that I would properly RP it asking him to put his hands up etc. I am serious about potentially rejoining this community because I love it and really regret doing what I did. 

 
@dylanzoog if you were to be unbanned, what would you do on the server? i.e. apply to whitelisted factions, join a rebel/gang, ARAC etc. (there is no right answer, we are just interested to see your response).

 
@James_W12345 If I was unbanned I would get my friends that I used to play with to come back on and probably join back to our old gang or if I'm just going to play by myself maybe try the ARAC role and just try to get into funny RP situations.

I have read and learned the rules a lot more and I am so much more knowledgeable on the rules, I was really stupid to not have known how to properly play on the server and how to properly RP to make it fun for me and the person I'm roleplaying with. If I was put in a similar position again I would have firstly try to avoid but if I could not avoid it and broke a rule I would firstly get on teamspeak with the person ingame and try sort it out with him to save the time of the staff on the server because I know how busy it is for them and I thank you guys for taking a look at my unban appeal, but i would try sort it out with them and if we're both reasonable try to sort it out with him.

I really want to get back playing on this server I have 0 intentions of breaking a rule again I did not do it on purpose but I am confident now it will never happen again thank you guys so much and please forgive me for doing what I did in the past as I didn't do it out of anger or to ruin somebody else's experience but just out of ignorance.

 
Out of curiosity, about 9 months ago you joined a server of some form with a specific word that would get you instantly banned here under the 1.2 rule.   How can we be sure we're not going to see any of this here?

 
I have matured a lot in the last year and know that saying anything racist or discriminative even as a joke is just really silly and immature, I've a part time job now and truely am a completely different person than I was last year. I was an idiot trying to be funny clearly not seeing how childish it is, I promise you I have changed and genuinely will never ever say anything rude, discriminative or racist on any of your servers in any way ever.

 
You have said you have read the rules abit, read them again. Stay away from the "silly jokes" and enjoy the server for what it is.
Don't mess this up.
