I was banned because I was being immature and decided to go on a RDM spree without thinking about others.

Why should we unban you ?
I was immature back then as this was a year and a half ago. I have since matured and I now understand how to properly rp. I made a mistake and I hope you can forgive me and give me a 2nd chance. Thanks for taking your time to review this ban appeal, it is much appreciated.

To be honest, I went on a rdm spree because I didn't care about the server back then. I just hopped on and decided to have a quick little bit of fun by killing others. I understand that rdm is not an appropriate way of having "fun", and I probably don't deserve to be unbanned for what I did, because mass rdm is a pretty serious offense, but I can assure you that it is all in the past. If you have any further questions for me or would like to talk to me on ts I would gladly talk to you. Thanks for responding and taking your time to review my appeal, it is greatly appreciated.

 
How does this community benefit from unbanning you? What is there to guarantee that this won't happen again, for kicks?

Well if I am unbanned the community would benefit by having a new player on the server. I am a pretty chill dude and I would like to think that some people would be happy when I am around. I'm outgoing and fun person who loves to party. I'm all about RP, I think it's fun and I've had some good RP moments in the past. For guaranteeing that it won't happen again, you're gonna have to trust me. This was a one time thing and it was over a year and a half ago. I didn't really play Arma back then especially on this server. I just decided to have some fun because at that time I didn't think I would still be playing till this day. I can assure you that what I did does not accurately portray me as a person. Thanks for responding and taking your time to review my appeal, its is greatly appreciated.

Yes I understand this is a serious roleplay community. That is why I have been putting alot of effort into making this appeal because I take this matter very seriously. I have 500 hours of Arma and I understand how roleplay works.

Yes, I read the rules otherwise I wouldn't be doing this appeal as it is a pre-requisite.

[SIZE=medium](2.2) Random Deathmatch (also known as RDM) - Shooting at someone without engaging in any form of quality role play (eg. Giving enough time for them to comply with your order. Count downs are not considered quality roleplay, please at least attempt to create an interesting roleplay story before considering shooting.) is considered RDM. (Punishment is a ban).[/SIZE]

My own words: RDM is when a player commits to a voluntary action that causes the death of another player without any form of initiation or role play.

okey so tell me when are you allowed to fire your gun, so it will not be classed as low rp or Rdm?

You can fire your gun when either someone initiates on you with high quality roleplay or if you are initiating on someone else with high quality roleplay and they do not follow your demands after you gave them ample amount of time as long as the demands are reasonable.

 
A few questions.

I see you've been playing on another Altis life server. What are the circumstances around you leaving that community and deciding to come back here?

Also, you state your reasons for going on an mass RDM spree was for shits and giggles based on immaturity.  You played on this server with a friend who at one point opted to play here under the name "RP is gay". I can see he's also recently returned and I'm assuming he's the reason you've also decided to come back.  Whilst you cannot be held responsible for your friends actions, the type of people you associate with does say a lot about a person which leads me to suspect 'RP' may not be your focus.  Are you able to put mind at rest on this subject, and what are your plans here should you be un-banned?

I left the old server because they recently closed the server down and I needed a new server to play on. While I do have similar interests as my friends, I find RP entertaining. I love the thrill of it when you are in an intense RP moment and they are good memories. I use shadowplay to record these moments and I love to look back on them and re-experience these moments, that is why I love Arma. My plans would be to probably start/join a gang to meet new people and make friends and then probably do runs for the first week to establish a solid bank account. Then I will probably start robbing people in Kavala, might go rebeling depending on my bank account, probably have some good RP moments, and get to know the people on the server.
