In your own words, Please type why you think you was banned

I was banned for signing a petition about a banned member. Basically I was contacted by Matt about a petition he made about getting his ban reviewed. At this point as far as I knew Matt was just banned for being rude towards the community. This was very bad I agree however he explained to me in such a matter, that this petition was just to get the ban reviewed. Basically given him a chance to appeal it what at this time seemed fair to me. I had known Matt for a very long time and he was known for doing very silly stuff and has been banned before for this. However to me he was always nice and I always try and see the good in people. However the situation turned very grim very soon with blackmail and the whole DDOS situation. Once I heard about this not much longer I was banned for signing this petition supporting an member that should be and stay banned. I now see that because I try to see the good in people and being rude is one thing but blackmail and DDOS is another. So I was banned for signing a petition against a decision by an admin that was very just. I have also cut the ties with everyone involved in the blanket ban, as soon as I heard about the blackmail and DDOSing.
 

Why should we unban you.

I've been a part of this community since just about April? However since April I have dedicated a lot of my free time to the server. I would never ever have signed the petition if I had known about the DDOSing and blackmailing issues, and in all honesty I should not have signed the petition at all. I would like to unbanned cause I really love the server and I have done for a very long time. I have always tried to help to community from the new little hobo to the most bad ass rebel. Aswell as I have dedicated months to the police force try and make it nicer place for all the PC's+ of Kavala for the most of my time in the police. And I really want to continue my work for the police force, and hopefully continue on to provide a high form of quality roleplay for all the rebels and police I come across. I have made a stupid mistake. I shouldn't have done it, however I hope the admins will take in consideration the work I have done for the police. Aswell as I have never broke a server rule nor will I ever do something as stupid as signing that petition. And I really do wish I had never signed it.

I would like to mention that when I was asked to delete my signature on the petition, I tried but it was to no avail, as I had entered a random email into the site, as well, I don't really use change.org

Thing is, if someone is community banned 99.99999% of the time, there is no appeal its done it's over....

Some people find ways around, some people eventually get in contact with Wilco or another snr admin, and get reviewed, but that's rare.
How on earth, would a petition at change.org have ANY influence on his standing? I mean, it must of gone through your head, like "What's the point?".....

I need to be fair, and at times, this may seem like I'm against people, but I'm not. I just need the facts, so we can move forwards and just "Play the Game". 

If someone is community banned, why didn't you ask someone else about it before clicking a link and filling a name? 

You're an SI, a 3rd of this community (the police<rough numbers estimate&gt look upto you, and respect you... And you put your name on a petition for a community banned member....

Besides this, whilst banned, the CSI's have made decisions that allowed you to stay SI whilst being banned? (Second time they ignore serverside bans because "They don't agree").

I do see your perspective and I agree that signing the prtition was very stupid. I acted without thinking and its my fault I ended up banned. The CSI's didn't remove my tagg this is true and I still did some work but nothing big (just allowing pc's to transfer and listen to peoples complains and tell them what I think the best course of action was.) I did this is because even though I was banned I still wanted to help the police out even though it was minor things that any other officer coupd have handled. I didn't do any SI work though. But I should have never signed the petition it was a very stupid decision I didn't think on how it would look to others. I honestly ment no harm and I should have know better. I'm very sorry for what ive done.
