In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
I got banned for using offensive words out of roleplay. For calling a guy whom was offensive towards my friend, "asshole" out of roleplay, calling my friend a "retard" in sidechat and writing "kys" also in sidechat.

Why should we unban you ?
Because i see what i did was wrong and could lead to someone getting offended or thinking that what i wrote was directed towards them. I swear that i will improve my language and think before i write something. I also do realise that i can be a rather offensive person sometimes, but i am sure that if you unbanned me i would respect other people alot more out of roleplay and realize how serious of a matter this is. The first time i got a warning i did not realize that words can actually be offensive towards people even though they are not directed towards the offended person. But now that i got punishment by the form of a ban i realize that what i did is indeed as bad as any other break of rules. Now that i have been punished and am aware of what i did wrong and why that is wrong. I am really sorry, especially towards anyone that could possibly have been offended by what i wrote.

Incase i am annoyed or just salty then i will think before i write. I am now also more aware of the fact that words can be very offensive and will keep my anger/salt in instead of writing stuff in sidechat so all people can see it. And incase somebody offends one of my friends, which was the reason for me to call that person an "asshole" i will politely tell the person that i do not approve of what he/she said/wrote.

Should this situation happen again (say, someone calls your friend insults OOC) how would you react? What steps would you take?

Yes i am 100% sure i will be able to do that as i understand the seriousness of this matter now, if not i am going to accept my punishments. Altough i can promise you that won't be necessary.

Incase someone offends my friend or myself i will inform them in direct ooc that i would like to speak to them on teamspeak. I would then attempt to resolve the situation by talking to the person, telling him what he did wrong and how that was offensive (I would most likely ask for an apology too). Then depending on the severity of the offense i would make a staff member involved in the sitatution for him to decide the punishment for the individual.

Excuse me? Could you explain what you mean as i only have one steam account which has arma which is the account connected to my forum account. I havent been logged on any Roleplay.co.uk server ever since i was banned on Saturday. Which would of course be pretty hard as i am banned.

EDIT: Yesterday or the day before (not quite sure) i accidentaly started connecting to the server by mistake but got kicked instantly as i was banned. That may have been the problem. And you will probably ask so i will write it now. The reason i joined the server was because my friend sent me an invite and i clicked on the invite by mistake instead of deleting the invite.

No i do not have any affiliation with @Congo. I have another steam account but it doesnt even have arma only a few source games.

And by the way, may i have the pleasure of knowing where you got your sources from which you can conclude such accusation that @Congo and the steam profile linked with it, is of my ownership?

I do apologise for the accusation again, however I did have my reasons.

Continuing with the appeal itself;

Why did you deem it acceptable to call your friend a retard on sidechat? The whole server can see this and it is common knowledge for anyone that has been here for a short while we do not accept this profanity.

Why did you also tell someone to 'kys' and call someone an arsehole?

Explanations:

"Retard" What happened was that my friend while flying a helicopter, got kicked which resulted in the helicopter crashing and killing all of us besides Max S (who is the friend that flew the helicopter and i called a retard). I didnt really think about it so much when i wrote it because i was quite salty at that moment. But as i said in my earlier comments and the post itself i realised my mistake and i am very sorry.

"kys" I have to be honest i dont remember at all saying that to anyone. I would guess though i said that to one of my friends too.

"arsehole" I called a guy whom made fun of one of my friends real life problem, so naturally i did not like any of that at all and called him an "asshole" in one of the ooc messages i sent to him in direct ooc.

On the basis you have learnt from this mistake and are genuine about going about dealing with issues in-game in the proper manner you will be unbanned.

I appreciate that people call their friends names however please refrain from doing it in such a public manner (with the harsher insults).
