In your own words, Why do you think you was banned: We were mucking around on the road past the airport when out of no where I was tased and restrained by CSI FUEL.
My friend killed fuel so i was unrestrained and I ran into the bush. When my friend was then killed. at this point I was made aware that there was more than one officer in the area. I saw one out of the bush (NEO) so i killed him, and was then banned. Because I had previously been restrained by fuel I was told that this was restraint exploiting.

Please give reasons why we should give you a final chance: I was told that I was using known exploits, but as far as I am aware the fact you are unrestrained when the person who restrained you is killed is written into the mission file. I have spoken to fuel and neo in ts and have explained that I did not think that this was an exploit and think that if it is then it should be made more clear. When I join the server the message I am presented with is Restraint Exploiting however I was not made aware that this was an exploit and rule 2D says:

Using known exploits such as looting dead bodies, any duplication of items, duplication of money, using the Anti-VDM script to regain full health, landing on the roof of drug processors, working with Bounty hunters to exploit money from the wanted system, using the ‘Flip Vehicle’ feature outside normal usage (Punishment is a permanent ban without appeal).

I have done none of the things that this rule states is exploiting and feel that If this is something that you can be banned for and if it is a regular occurrence, then it should be added to the exploit rule.

I did not intentionally break any rules and enjoy playing on this server, which I have been for the last few months. I enjoyed my time as a police officer and feel that it is unfair that I have been banned for a simple misunderstanding.r />
I have not been the given to chance to put my point of view across on a ban report.
I was surprised when I was banned so I immediately got onto team speak and thought that I had resolved the problem when at the end of the conversation I was told that admins are not allowed unban people through ts but if I put a post in the forums it should get sorted in the next couple of days.

I will post a video of what happened if required however my internet is very slow so it will take a few hours.

I hope to be able to play on this server again because as I have previously stated I enjoy playing on this server and have put a lot of hours into this community.

I would also like to make it clear that I would not knowingly break a rule and apologize for doing so.

So lets look at this from a different angle... so in real life a police officer restrains you with the cuffs behind your back, they somehow get shot... do you think you can get unrestrained let alone pickup a gun and shoot someone ?

No, I do not think this, and the conclusion that I came to with Fuel and Neo was that they were right, carrying on in a gun fight is bad RP and obviously it would not happen in real life.

I thought however that because when the person who restrained you died that you were free that this was an intentional game mechanic, hence why I carried on and did not stop with my hands up. 

Neo and Fuel explained to me that the only reason that this is in place is to make sure that you are not left cuffed in the middle of no where after a fire fight is over, which makes sense, but as I explained to them there are already mechanics in the game such as lock picking and also the 15 min release timer that combat this issue.

As I have stated I did not intentionally break a rule or use an exploit and instead thought that this was included in the mission file for times like the one I have been caught up in. 

I will however know now for future (if you do decide that I can be unbanned) and will stop and put my hand up if I find my self in this situation again.

I also realise that this is defiantly not the correct place to raise this on the forums but as this matter has been brought up I feel that maybe in the future updates of ALUK this feature of becoming unrestrained when the police officer dies should be taken out. This situation would then not occur, and as I have said, there are plenty of other ways to be unrestrained, the worst being a 15 min wait... but what is that in the grand scheme of things. Prison sentences are the same length however in this situation after the timer is up you still keep everything that you had on you, a lucky escape in my opinion.
