In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
This was over a year ago but i believe i was banned for breaking the rules and causing other players to become upset due to my actions. I had caused a guy to lose 70k worth of gear and i am sorry that happend to him.

Why should we unban you ?
I've recently been getting back into Arma 3 and im still looking for active RP community's and i believe this community is one of the best out there and i would be grateful if i could get back into it. Of course having to go through this process is a big learning opportunity for me and i don't think ill ever be repeating the actions that got me banned in the first place again.

(2.1) Vehicle Deathmatch (also known as VDM) - Using any vehicle as a weapon (e.g running people over, causing explosions including while sling loading, ramming, etc), will result in you receiving a ban. Three vehicles are excluded from this, MRAPS (Ifrits, Hunters and Striders) can ram other MRAPS in order to disable them, yet not to kill the passengers. This is allowed as these vehicles are the only vehicles ingame that can withstand being rammed. Please note that you need to initiate roleplay before attempting to ram an MRAP. (Please note - MRAPS don't need to be initiated on in the redzone) This is to prevent random ramming on site. (Three minutes of chasing also constitutes initiation of MRAP and MRAP ramming).

Using any sort of vehicle as a weapon to intentionally harm people  (e.g. Explosions, running people over etc) and to cause disruption to roleplay. only MRAPS (Ifrits, hunters and striders) are allowed to ram other MRAPS in situations of roleplay where they are only trying to disable the vehicle and not kill any of the passengers.. If you are committing an act of VDM then you will receive a ban.

These sort of rules are in place to ensure quality of roleplay is consistent throughout a persons play time on the server, having rules  like these are what keeps people coming back as they know they can trust the admins to deal with any problems within the community. Causing disruption to the roleplay can ruin the experience for people as they can lose gear, money or even  their vehicles. All of the rules are applied to keep people safe, behaved and most importantly happy.  

 
What would you do differently if put in a similar situation?

 
If put in this situation again, first of all i wouldn't even try to commit an act of VDM in the first place as this whole process is a teaching me a lesson. Even if i did accidentally hit someones car or run someone over i would stop and roleplay out the situation and apologize for what i done, i would offer any aid i could. I definitely would treat everyone better and create a story for myself rather than just be an ass and muck up an other persons session on the server.

 
If I were to get unbanned. Of course I'd follow the rules and read them carefully before joining. Id try to give everyone the RP experience they deserve that being authentic and realistic but not too serious and if I do that then hopefully I receive the same experience back. I would not break the rules again as of course I'd end up here again. 

EDIT: And i would definitely think of the potential consequences/outcomes before i do anything!

I think you have learned your lesson. Make sure you keep reading the rules so that you don't make a mistake like this again.
