In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
In short, My mate gave me a gun to help in a shootout after I died in said shootout - I would like to note that I dispute the claim of RDM to some extent; though NLR: fair enough.

In a little more detail: On our way out of Kavala, me and my mate came across a group of armed men holding people up on a bridge. Thinking of ourselves as the vigilantes of Altis, we decided we'd curtail the robbers. Needless to say, they acted as dodgy as you would expect and were just itching to shoot - I'm not entirely sure what I was expecting, myself. Anyway, I was dead within a couple of minutes, leaving my mate to fend for himself.

Considering this was taking place just down the road from the Kavala market and the shooting had mostly stopped, I though it would be a good idea to wander down and see how things are going (an obvious mistake, but there you go). Turns out the robbers hadn't dispersed, turns out the fire fight had evolved into a game of cat and mouse between the rest of them and my mate.

It wasn't long before I was spotted and commanded to stay still. He may have had a gun, but he wasn't in the best position to shoot and I was only a couple of steps from the back-alleys of Kavala - he pursued. As shots were beginning to be fired in my general direction, I decided the best course of action was to hide behind my mate and his big gun, so I set out to find him. Whitest with him, I also though it would be a good idea to accept his "secondary" gun, which was still rather big.

Getting a little exhausted now, so here's a summary of what happened next: I shot the pursuer.

Now...

Why should we unban you ?
Again, NLF: fair enougth; RDM: I suppose I broke that more than I didn't.

But this was a one time thing. I had played this server for a decent length of time, and I had plenty of fair, tense armed engagements. Not all went well for me, but rules were never broken. Everyone's bound to make mistakes - I thought I could push the limits. I thought I could get away with having a little peek at the shootout. I though I could justify shooting that man.

At the end of the day, I never insisted on breaking the rules. Most of the time, I insist on the opposite, avoiding any action with a whiff of rule breaking, even if it means "loosing" whatever situation I'm in - I'll always have money in the bank, anyway.

This is a first for me. I'm not entirely sure how to go about it, I certainly did break the rules; But, I do believe I have the restraint to not put myself in the same situation again. To not break the rules again.

I would very much appreciate a second chance, cheers.

I don't see any reason to argue with you in regards to the RDM. Therefore, so that I am confident that you are familiar with our rules and will follow them in future, please explain the New Life Rule in your own words.

Sorry for the late reply. Basically, don't refer to your past life; and stay a reasonable distance away from the area in which you died - say, a couple of miles - for a reasonable length of time - say, half an hour.

The rule is a little bit more specific than that. As much as that is your own words, please explain the specifics of distance and time etc.

Apologies for the wait, I didn't intended it to be quite as long as this. Regardless, follow the rules moving foward.
