For starting the engine of a police vehicle while in a greenzone.

Why should we unban you ?
The admin assumed what was going on and rather than letting role play take place they saw a rule that might get broken and banned me before it happened. I didn't want to steal the vehicle I merely wanted to get a role play response from an officer who was not engaging more than the minimum they had to. This was also around 2 years ago and I my enjoyment from Altis life has changed form annoying people to properly engaging in role play and playing out situations without braking RP. Unfortunate in the past two years I have come to realize how well this sever provided when it came to role play, compared to most servers where being a medic seems to be only way to have any fun with role play. I've just went back and seen I have had bans in the past and I do understand if this appeal does not get passed but it would be nice to come back and see what the community is actually like as I feel it might be worth leaving the time I've invested in other servers and come back to this one. Anyway kind regards to the admin who will read this, I am at your mercy.

To get a reaction? Inside a greenzone?

Please could you quote us the rules you broke and explain them to us with detail.

Could you also please explain why you think we have greenzones and what are there purposes.

 
Yes I know it sounds stupid and getting in his car was not a good way to get a reaction out of someone unless I want to get shot. The rule I broke was (6.2.3) You must not lockpick or steal a vehicle from the blue zone. This rule does not apply to the police. 

I know I've been saying greenzone but that is because it's whats said when I try to join a server " banned for stealing in  GZ " but as I was at the police station in Kavala I believe the broken rule should be the one I mentioned. I'm not sure how to explain the rule in detail but I will try. Rule 6.2.3 states that under no circumstance can you steal or lockpick a vehicle inside a bluezone (or green for that matter).  However if you are a police officer this rule does not apply as the blue zone's are in police headquarters.   

I believe greenzones are in place to provide a safe place for people to gather, communicate with each other and safely buy needed items without having the fear of being robbed or having a vehicle stolen. Guns also have to be holstered in these zones as to take away chance of danger to people and initiated fights can not be brought into these zones to keep important areas from becoming a zone full of people being killed in crossfire or miss identification. (also you can't try hide from someone trying to kill you in the safe zone either). As cities have shops inside that people need to use people will naturally concentrate in these areas so it is important to keep them safe to create a more enjoyable server. 

Since I was in a bluezone I shall also talk about them. I believe bluezones share many of the same purposes but also are  in place to provide a safe place for police officers to gear up and also interrogate suspects without the worry of civilians killing the police to rescue their friends or taking officer vehicles to sell at chop shops.

In your reply you missed out that both of these zones are here to encourage more RP, less hostile RP and relaxed RP.

Its been a while, if we are going to unban you what do you plan to do? what type of RP can you bring to our community?

 
My response was a little unclear as I was trying to make those points in my answer with talking about the zone allowing for communication and a safe place to do that but I see now I should of made sure my point off communication was for roleplay.  I would plan to become a bounty hunter or apply for a medic role as I enjoy roleplaying while I'm doing a task and providing a service. It feels more fulfilling to me when the roleplay I am engaging in has valued actions I am doing, for example asking people about what accident they were in and what seems to be the problem and then healing them, or reforming an arrest on a bounty and hearing their story so I have to make the moral choice of taking them in or not. I'm probably not wording this very well but that's the type of roleplay I enjoy and would love to bring to server that has player that can make for a better roleplay experience.

 
Exactly what John said, the green zone is a place for player to interact and communicate to each-other without any worry.
