In your own words, Please type why you think you was banned
Because the staff member saw my attempt to disable the other players vehicle as an attempted VDM.

Why should we unban you.
Because I hoped that the definition of VDM (vehicle DEATH match), left room for disabling a vehicle when nobody was inside it. Nobody would've gotten killed by me giving the car a push to destroy it's wheels. I know now that even though I've played on Altislife.co.uk for several years, I apparantly misunderstood that rule. I never saw it as VDM if people wrecked my car, and definitely not if they were under attack by me. I'm sorry, and it will definitely never happen again. (I don't have the name of the member support guy that I talked to on TS, but he confirmed on the night of the incident that he would've done the exact same thing. Obviously not an excuse, but that made me sure that I had done nothing wrong.)

How did you not understand the rule?;

I don't understand how you misinterpreted the rule, really.

Ofcourse you can disable vehicles with guns by shooting tyres, but not by ramming your vehicle into theirs.

Well, I see now that my interpretation of the rule was wrong. I thought the rule was to prevent people killing with vehicles (the DEATH part of VDM). I interpreted it as "you are not allowed to ram vehicles with people in them or to kill a person standing next to it".

And yes it is very possible to disable a vehicle by ramming it. It's very easy actually. And maybe I would've done it if he wasn't standing so close to the vehicle. But since he was, I didn't because then I might have hit him. I've been disabled by other people ramming me many times. Particularly when they hit the brakes in front of my truck.

Anyway, I am aware of my mistake now. If that is enough is totally up to you. I love playing on the servers and would hate to have to find a new one for me and my friends to play on.

What would you do in the future if you needed to disable someones vehicles? What other methods would you choose?

Well, in this exact situation I wouldn't try at all. As neither me or the friend I had with me in the truck had a gun. Then I would have to make a run for it in the truck instead, hoping that the other guy wouldn't follow, or just wait it out, call the police and hope that he doesn't call his friends.

If I had a gun I would have probably turned the truck so I could get out while the other guy was on the opposite side and either shoot him or his tires.

I believe I do. Now I wouldn't even ram an abandoned car in the middle of nowhere. The owner could be sitting in a bush just waiting to report me. xD
