I'm pretty sure I was banned for swearing in OOC chat,

Why should we unban you ?
I would just like to get back in touch with this community, I remember the good times I've had on this server and I feel like I ended it in an immature way. I am positive that the way I am today is completely different from the way I was 2 years ago, a huge time frame for me to become more mature, I appreciate any attempt at an unban

Took you a long while to attempt an unban. Have you read over the rules?


If so, can you quote us the rule you broke and explain it to us in your own way?
When you have done that i want you to answer us on why we actually have a rule like that in place.

I took a break from gaming in general, and I had some problems with my PC, I recently got back to enjoying PC gaming and decided I would love to give Altis Life another go on this server.

Yes I read over the rules before making my appeal to try to find exactly what I did wrong.

(1.3) Swearing at someone outside of roleplay is not tolerated and will be punished by a ban.

The reason for this rule is just to make sure everyone in this community has a good time without being harassed and bashed by others,  also to prevent bullying. This is supposed to be a mature adult community and I can see why swearing recklessly seems very immature.

Alfred with all due respect it was over 2 years ago, I had no idea I was banned until I tried to join the server a couple of times and a friend told me about the chat message saying I was banned for chat abuse, I then went into the teamspeak to speak with a support member to see how he could help me with remembering what had happened and all he could do for me was send me the ban info, if I had to assume it would probably be that I had a fight with someone on OOC and started swearing at him, I don't know if we both got banned, I also don't know who the other person was.

To be completely honest with you yes I did have some anger problems, and it did not only affect me in my gaming, but it effected me badly in school, work, and just chilling with friends. It's something that I have worked on with myself because I realized if I kept acting with this aggressive nature,(including swearing) I'd probably loose a lot of good things in my life. I'm hoping you can understand that this unban appeal is not coming from the "I have no other place to play Altis Life so I wanna get unbanned" place, It's coming from me genuinely wanting to rejoin a community I enjoyed spending time on after I have overcome my issues.

Let's hope that these issues don't come back again and if they do identify them early so that they don't affect other players.
