As @_Rhys_said, the toolbenches works, but what you can craft, and what you need to craft it, you'll have to figure out
Either from scratch, or make contacts who might share the information with you! 
The best tool IC is always to ask around, make friends, contacts; be social. It will give you a great advantage!
