no rule was broken...

you can't just report people because u didn't have fun because u were unable to scrap my heuron and was killed.

if this were the case people would be constantly reported and banned.

i'm sorry if we disappointed you that we never rp'd in the fashion that we just cooperate with you and just let u scrap my heli..

baiting? why would i want to risk loosing a 15mil heli to bait cops... doesn't make any sense..

TKC isnt giving the POLICE 0 RP the hole time , and im done whit it , and yes its about fun this game but IT ISNT WASTELAND OR KING OF THE HILL ,

im sorry but the only thing that was fail RP in this situation was u giving 0 regard for your life or your collegues life's when u tried to engage on us to try a disable my heli so u could scrap it..

i dont think any 1 in REAL LIFE would go to such measures just to scrap a heli...

Especially when you are clearly out gunned and out numbered.

Arrgh. This report is balls. I am really struggling here.

A fucking great chopper lands in the middle of town, and the police completely fail to recognise the seriousness of the situation, imho. There are armed individuals running around clearly offloading the chopper, and most likely dealing drugs. They are hardly likely to be visiting LIDL, after all. It is *obvious* that a drug run is going down - yet.. the situation is handled like a parking offence!

There is evident lag at the beginning, when Bellyke attempts to get the runners to stop and talk to him, and it's perfectly possible that Godric is already in the church by the time he's heard Bellyke's shout. In any case, it doesn't really matter - until they're stopped, the drug-runners clearly feel that they're powerful or fireproof enough to keep on going, and to call the copper's bluff.

Bellyke's calls are (apart from being far too loud and distorted - please fix that mic) indistinct and unclear, and he clearly doesn't quite know how to handle a situation of this magnitude on his own. Pretty understandable when it's just him and a PCSO, but that's life. However, some cringe-worthy calls are made here... Bellyke says "The problem is, that man with the really good gun on his back, doesn't seem to want to listen to me, so I'll just see what is in the chopper" WHAT?? Hang on. What part of police training teaches them to IGNORE the primary threat (two armed men who are clearly NOT under police control yet and who may kill you in an instant) and instead to focus on a vehicle search, which - without either the proper authorisation from the owner, or an indication that you have reasonable grounds to conduct a search whether the owner likes it or not - is clearly illegal in itself!

Bellyke then continues to fail to respond to the fact that at least one of the armed men is STILL failing to comply with his stop order, and is running back-and-forth into the drug-dealer. That was the cue to have blocked him, stood in his way, restrained or tased him if necessary (assuming you were prepared to escalate to that degree at that time, of course). Only the PCSO had the right idea - even though it may have resulted in them all getting killed - nullify the IMMEDIATE threat, by tasing or restraining the armed men. At the very least, they should have been warned that that was a possible outcome if they continued ignoring the copper.

Instead, because they were NOT restrained or made to stop by sheer charisma alone, one of the men (Godric, I believe - but he was masked) walked off to the gates and began his speech about TKC which I thought (for once) was actually quite detailed and had the makings of some rather interesting negotiation/escalation RP. But Bellyke simply walked around the chopper like he was giving it an MOT test, and literally 'walked over' Godric's verbals and asked if anyone could scrap the chopper! The opportunity of RP that Godric was laying out on a plate was COMPLETELY IGNORED.

To his credit, Godric didn't immediately open fire, but instead gave further warnings and indicated that if the cops attempted to impound the chopper, they'd be killed, because Godric was supported and his hidden gang-menbers had a shot. Was he lying? Was it a bluff? Did the cops attempt to determine this or modify their strategy in light of this information? Or did they just attempt to shoot out the rotor and run around the building - away from the potential combatants that they could've engaged directly. Would cops really perform such a ludicrously dangerous move in the middle of the town centre? What if those rotors had broken off and killed an innocent civilian?

There was no attempt to really 'engage' with the armed men, in terms of reading them any laws or rules that had been broken (landing a chopper in a town, risking human life, noise and pollution - any of that shit). No attempt to identify who the men were, or to detain, block or restrain them. Just a lot of posturing and walking around, all with the eventual aim of impounding the chopper, whatever the cost or risk to their own or bystanders' lives.

Then the inevitable fire-fight ensued, and a running battle began... and the video basically peters out at that point (I was expecting a cool ending, btw... I wasted half a bag of popcorn on that, only to be disappointed).

Sorry. This was just lame. No ban.

Someone has indicated to me that they feel the chopper's presence in downtown Kavala was a sign of meta-gaming, and that TKC would not have done that, if there were more cops online at the time. I can see their point, but I don't believe this is metagaming any more than the fact that robberies and RDMs increase across the whole island when there are few police online. It's just one of those facts of life in Altis. Certainly, TKC and all players SHOULD still assume that there are loads of cops on the island, even when they cannot see them... and their actions should still seem plausible at all times, but in this case, I can confirm I have seen this chopper-landing stunt pulled when there ARE more cops on the server - the outcome varies, depending on which (and how many) officers respond.
