im just wondering how do you do to not go backwards if you are,using hover to maybe get a accurate land in the garage i always start going backwards and shit even if i go forward is it because i use q and r to much

if you use autohover, the helicopter will go to the location you activated the autohover. It's good to use wasd+q/e keys to maintain a small stability.

you can stop it from going backwards by enabling and disabling the autohover so you reset the starting position. also have in mind the rotor size. you can identify their size by this picture bellow. rottors=3 body birds.

Nice flying mate!
Great tips for any new pilot out there :D

Would love to see you show some Orca stuff as well if you are able to?
I find the Orca better in a lot of situations, and its a great chopper ^^

Also, not how to do it.

Great flying man!

Nice video man, good work!

if you use autohover, the helicopter will go to the location you activated the autohover.
Not quite true, the helicopter will slow itself down as fast as possible until it comes to a complete stop (while using auto hover). It doesn't go backwards to where you placed it.

There is a very good YouTuber (Dslyecxi) who gives amazing demonstrations and guides on all types of flying, especially landing. Not trying to deter you from doing your own thing though. :)

Feel free to contact me if anyone needs a lesson on how to chase people, as shown in the link below, thats what im best at!

@San Miguel

Actually turning to rapidly bleed speed works with the small choppers, but it's bad practice as you would usually crash with the heavier ones. Just do a 1km aproach, where you hold Z, but tilt the heli very slightly up so you bleed speed but not altitude.

Your video is very viable with hummingbirds though, and it was nicely made.
