Episode 1 - Jeff Meets Psylo
Jeff was drinking cold whiskey alone in the casino, spinning his past away on a slot machine. Thinking about the old days in Ireland before he came to the city of Los Santos and reflecting on all the mistakes made when he first camehere. Suddenly Jeff notices a distinct odor of marijuana beside him, when down beside him sits a Caribbean man by the name of Psylo Rugani.
Psylo explains “I come to this city to enjoy the time and live the great situation ya know but money help ya along the way, so let's get this money”. Jeff was pleased to hear this as he was tired of the rat race of the city, watching people run around lying and selling each other out for the quickest buck. All Jeff cared about was enjoying a cold whiskey and reminiscing on the past life he used to have.
Both men gamble, smoke strange tasting cigars and drink whiskey into the early hours of the morning. After the sun begins to rise, Jeff puts on his jacket and explains to Psylo that he has to go to work to make back the money he has lost over the night. Being curious about his work and remembering a vague story of being self-employed, he asks Jeff to show him what he does for work. Jeff sees a potential for a good friendship and work relationship and agrees to show him.
They jump into a truck and Jeff drives Psylo to a secret underground location where he has been crafting local goods off the grid. Jeff explained how he was never interested in joining a gang, although it is the common thing happening to everyone around him, in fact even being recognized was not something he was ever interested in. He turns to Psylo and explains “I have a lot of interests and there are lots of businesses that would be a dream come true to own, but to be able to run all these separate businesses under one name! That's the real dream!” The more Jeff explained, the more intrigued Psylo became.
Jeff knew this was not a plan that someone could manage completely alone, but he never had enough trust in someone that he could become an actual business partner, most people only ever showed loyalty to the money. Too many times a broke man has lost $1000 arguing over the price of a Kat-Kit, he knew Psylo was different, a true independent that did things for the right reasons.
Psylo explained how efficient they could be if they combined their skills to mass produce products. Jeff agreed, with a handshake and explained that they would complete the paper later in the week as it wasn't necessary to make everything public until the stock was gathered and so they began immediately sourcing materials and crafting stock.
