The RP with police. Is there any point?

Well clearly i drove the car without owning the keys. So maybe i did have some kind of key, maybe a spare one with only engine key;)? Or maybe your police computer broke down? Or maybe DMV didnt registered this car in my name yet? Maybe i had a name change? Maybe the key got stuck in the keyhole? Maybe someone tried to frame me and reprogrammed my car while i was fueling at gas station? Maybe owner dced in my car while i was driving? What about my story dont you like, good sir? Pick and choose your own story then, the one you like the best.

So my story kinda checks out, again. You cant PROVE my story wrong. Blame the game, not me.  About it being bullshit, prove it otherwise, show me the wires in the car being ripped out, its not in the game either. hahaha. This is ridiculous.
These are all bullshit reasons for trying to prove that your story is correct, which it isn't. Proof in point, it's the DVLA not the DMV. You definitely didn't have a name change. Reprogrammed your car? wat. My police computer never breaks down. Already asked the owner and he said you stole it, he was on the server at the time so that proves your part of the story wrong. So clearly, all the points within your 'story' are bullshit.

You are to blame for being caught and driving a stolen vehicle and you are now crying about it on the forums because you think that we didn't RP it correctly, really all this thread does is show how much of a cry baby you are over getting caught doing something you weren't supposed to be doing.

yoyo hold on to make things clear, never ever compare me with stixio plz oke thx.

and yes the sport hatchback was mine, i was selling drugs, i came back and the car was gone.

which was my own fault, we had cocain in it and there where shitloads of cops so we just bailed and left the car.(i forgot too lock the car)

and to be honest the last couple days been fun with the cops and role play, just my 2 cents

StickZ

Thhis made me lol this thread. Guy STOLE a car didn't realise it was loaded with drugs and the owner ditched it. hahaha

Amazing amount of butthurt to put this story on forum imho =D. IF you are such a pro roleplayer, why didn't you organize a protest in front of cop headquarters because of cops abusing their power.. Stop crying, go roleplay!

Your entire thread is about us not being able to prove a BS story, which in turn proves its a BS story...

separate door and engine keys? wow that fits into the game/world mechanics...

You also said the owner was offline? then at that point the consent you had to drive it is also revoked, as that person no longer existed, which means it's a car... that's not road registered, not-owned waste = Stolen....

if you can create BS stories, we can create more logical ones.
All the stories in this game is BS. Wake up. Think before you write at least.

Not owned car is not = stolen. Once again go to your carhop, ask them if any of those vehicles are registered - aww dayuum they all stolen. Call the cops. Thats what you basically saying.

Back to the point, my story never been proved wrong. Thats why it checks out... Create you own stories on you own character you can read an book if you want to, i really dont care. Your story your rules.

In fact officers told me that i stole it, which they cant really prove. Like i said i am fine with them trying to make up a good counter story, its fine. But denying my story and telling that i am wrong and they are right is also wrong!!

People are too much narrowsighted. Cops are narrowsighted about defending cops, civs the same defending themselfs.

To be honest, i wouldnt waste my time complaining about police abuse because it will continue.

There are awesome cops, theres a shitload of bad cops.

There are awesome rebels, theres a shitload of bad rebels.

My only concern is, cops are whitelisted. We shouldn't expect so many of them power gaming all the time. Instant restrains are ruining the game for instance.

You are to blame for being caught and driving a stolen vehicle and you are now crying about it on the forums because you think that we didn't RP it correctly, really all this thread does is show how much of a cry baby you are over getting caught doing something you weren't supposed to be doing.

Dude it happened yesterday, like 11pm.. I Don´t need you to ask him on TS now... And btw since Altis being a RP game you kinda need to provide the evidence within the game. Maybe while we were having a conversation together, you know. Not now.

Yes you did not RP it correctly you blamed me for theft - and had no prove. My story = you story, so the ticket for theft was wrong.

Ok everyone listen up. I was convicted for crimes i did not commit. Why? Because officers ASSUMED it. Thats what i am trying to say. No Prove = not guilty.

I just did some research on power gaming,

power gaming does not really apply as this game is full of it.

basically in rp gaming power gaming is using something that is not implemented in the game to achieve your aim.

like you said the key instance and W + S

but in that case every form of role play is a form of powergaming,

people saying I am hunting - hunting doesnt exist

people using professions - there isnt any professions

my wife is pregnant - no females in arma

you get my drift
Powergaming (or power gaming) is a style of interacting with games or game-like systems with the aim of maximising progress towards a specific goal, to the exclusion of other considerations such as (in video games, boardgames, and roleplaying games) storytelling, atmosphere and camaraderie.

This will be my last post here.

You obviously think this behavior constitutes a healthy atmosphere on the server, then I see police bitch and whine when rebels use the same tactics to shoot and kill any cop instead of getting caught in these traps... Your whitelisted for a reason, think about it.

I'll be making making my case elsewhere when I have enough scenarios to refer to.

This will be the last post here by anyone... except an admin I guess.

There's a difference between the fact this is all fictitious, and your story just being roleplayingly fictitious.....

You want support in your argument, be constructive, not an ass...

Cars in a car shop are owned by the business, so your argument is irrelevant.

You also tell people off for telling your story, when you say:

Thats what you basically saying.
There are too many things we can't do to prove your innocence or guilt. We have to go by the facts at hand.At the end of the day;

- the owner said stolen.

- you couldn't lock it, and you're story didn't fit the make/model of the car.

- Next time don't speed.

- lights on from 6pm to 7am.

- Cry less.

Locked due to not going anywhere but down-hill and OP turning to insults.
