Speed Camera Disable Adjustment

Tickets! Tickets! Tickets! The speed cameras are loved by police and hated by everyone else. As it currently stands you can disable them relatively easily, you just waltz up and bam it's basically disabled. I am not going to suggest the ability to disable the cameras be removed but I would like to just see an adjustment on the ease of doing it. In addition to the current system of disabling them I'd like to just see a hammer or screwdriver be required to smack or unscrew the panel off the camera before it's disabled. Essentially just a two-step process instead of one as I personally think disabling the cameras should be done with a purpose and not out of immediate boredom.

Itd be cool if there was a minigame! Just not the same one... kinda linking back to marks recent suggestion c:

should definitely be a lot more difficult/engaging for sure - I agree it shouldn't be taken away, as the RP of it can be quite entertaining - however its as you put it - something people just do out of boredom instead of with a real purpose which turns catching people doing it for that purpose into a really boring interaction 80% of the time. Even from a crim perspective I find it a little lacking, no risk no reward kind of thing.

*edit* Making it 2 step would put it on the same entertainment - risk - reward ratio as shop robbery. Brilliant suggestion

Maybe require you to have more tools on you, than just a knife / blade.
Maybe you need a screwdriver to "open" the panel in the first place, and THEN a knife with a mini game to do it?

I agree it's too easy atm :) (But fun)

I'd like to say that it goes both ways as it is. Police walks up to the sabotaged camera and WamBam it's fixed.
2-steps for everyone!
However I personally don't feel that there's a need for a minigame when disabling it. As you're basically just destroying what's behind the panel. Doesn't take a genius to do an actual rats (yes the animal) job!

well we do need a kit and i believe we have a minigame(wheel) for it aswell, might be wrong tho

I think you should have a advance lock pick to open it then cut the wires but I would say maybe get rid of the police alert so it brings more of a realistic action to it so police actually check the cameras

Advanced lockpick is a bit overkill for a speed camera

Lockpick or "brute" force it open(but instantly alarm police before you're done, or something) with a crowbar/other melee weapons
