SPC Miller

What makes you read a hobo's title?
Location
Netherlands
As of the 4th of March 2017 I, Senior Police Constable  Avalon Miller will be forced to a temporary leave of one to ten days.

Reason: I tried to make my own TS3MusicBot and whilst making one in the virtual program, my computer force restarted itself. First time it was fine, second time it didn't reboot. It gave me the "no signal" although everything looked like it worked.

If you think you are able  to fix this problem, then feel free to message me on the forums or TeamSpeak  ( Preferably PM on the forums )

I will be active on teamspeak and the forums as much as possible.

Does it come on every so often, if it does once you are on try resetting it to your most recent System Restore Point

I resolved it.

Removed a ram stick, it was corrupt  I think!

@Jack Shepherd The Computer didn't show BIOS btw or anything.. Thanks for the help though!

No signal is a standard monitor message if it's not receiving a signal via the DVI, HDMI or VGA cable which ever one you use.  Check the monitor cables are in. Also, sometimes a monitor can be switched from DVI, HDMI or VGA, check the buttons on the monitor and try switching display modes.

On your PC, do the lights come on, fans spin, and do you hear the beep you normally get once it's passed the BIOS screen?

If this fails and your PC motherboard has a built in VGA, DVI or HDMI slot, open up the PC (unplug from mains) remove your graphics card, plug the monitor cable into your inbuilt socket and see if that makes any difference. If it does, your graphics card is bust.

Well  I restarted my pc and it doesnt work anymore im sad now

I still think it may be your graphics card. Impossible to say of course without getting my hands on it, but no signal is usually an indication of this if your computer sounds like it's booting normally but nothing on the display.

The ram sticks are the problem, basically I boot up my pc.. it works now but if I turn it off there is a chance it will turn on and say no display so the ram's are dusty or coruppted

I strongly doubt that the RAM is causing this problem. No display is way more likely to have to do with your GPU or the cable.

actually it can be. @SPC Miller states he say no BIOS or POST. One of the first steps of POSt is the RAM check. Bad Ram = No Init.

Miller - you said there that having replaced the RAM you're PC is back and working, did you just re-seat it? That can usually fix most RAM issues unless the ram itself is physically bad.
