Sound

Can confirm that wireless logitech headset are absolutetly annoyances on USB 3.0 just doesn't work properly.

Also if you don't know the model of your headset how could you have downloaded recent drivers? try take a picture on your phone of the headset and upload the picture to ex. imgur.com and post it here so we(lionel) can aid you.

I have plugged it into USB2. It works fine now, however my keyboard is now broken. A lot of characters I can't type and my function keys have stopped working along with my numpad and the dash key. I have a UK QWERTY keyboard.

IM REALLY SORRY BUT THIS IS FUNNY !!!!

I guess we'll just leave that there. dont worry.

I would suggest you try another USB port, it sounds to me like your usb ports is buggered.

did you have any luck trying other usb ports ?

did you just swap your KB and headset over ? are they all wireless ??

Please Please Please include just a little bit more information than you are atm :( :( :( :(

I swapped them around, my keyboard is wired but my headset is wireless. Swapping made no difference.
right so did you swap them with each other or did you just move the headset into a empty usb2 port ???

I am really struggling to understand what your setup is !!!! it is starting to get mildly frustrating with so little information, so either you are more helpful or somebody else can try their patience on you. :(

I took my headset plug out completely and moved the keyboard usb to the one where the headset is, so there is 1 usb open

ok it sounds to me like the usb port that you used to have the headset plugged into is faulty, so try not to plug into that one, as anything plugged into that seems to fail.

you can try your keyboard on the USB3, there shouldnt be any reason why it wouldnt work, if failing that you could look at getting a cheap USB hub, its just a known issue with logitech headsets that they dont work well with usb3 for some reason.

It's my keyboard that's the problem here I believe. The headset is fixed but fixing it broke my keyboard. Numpad, dash key and plus key aren't working plus ctrl and left alt.

It's fixed now, I bought a new keyboard and it works perfectly fine.

yup as above

  1. OS
  2. headset or soundcard
  3. how long has this been happening
  4. have you tried another button
  5. 7.1 or stereo
  6. what have you done so far to "fix" it ;)
These are just a few starter questions

Also requested shift to tech section as this is a problem on your end
Same answer here

Wait  it might be your os i have had this problem when i had windows 8 ( I think )

@PCSO Miller

I am to assume you have exactly the same issue ? if so it was resolveed by switching to a USB 2.0 socket, please try the same.
