Hi guys

The last time I was on (i think it was over a month ago) i acted a total jerk for some new player and when it had been pointed out to me (forgot his name)

I just stopped playing online games. The reason I was a jerk was/is I can't get over that some of MY firefighters have 3de degree firewounds all over them When I said they needed to go inside the building looking for survivors. sorry for Wilco for the unban thinghy when it wasn't worth it.

So guys I will be back once I could get over this.

again sorry for being a jerk

Are we talking about IRL or In-Game here?

@jari

If IRL then that sucks man, I'm sorry.

Well fair play for coming back, owning up and apologising. Not sure what / if anything will be done after it but regardless it takes balls to say you were wrong so props to you my friend.

I'm not exactly sure what's gone on here, but well done for owning up and being the bigger man.

Sorry, Jari... are you saying that in real life, you're a firefighter, and some of your team have been injured in the line of duty, and as a result of your command?

If so, I can understand how that would mess up your mind. The burden must seem very heavy.

In all seriousness, make sure you speak with your own command officers and support teams. I'm sure that even in Belgium (where I understand you're from) they have counselling and support systems in place for dealing with things like Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and this kind of thing. Make sure they give you some help. Don't try and face it all on your own. Let the professionals help you out, and then come back to us when you're back in your happy space again.

My sympathies to your work buddies too. I have the deepest respect for firefighters - you never know when you might need them. Please pass on our best wishes to them, if you get the chance. I hope they all heal up soon and are able to put this behind them as soon as possible.

Regards

Hey mate, well done on owning up, I'm sorry for what happened to your men, I'm sure it wasn't your fault.

As TinyBigJacko says, there are places in which you can get help from professionals and once you feel able and happy again, be sure to come back!

I use this game to get away from the stress IRL and sometimes how you feel out of the game can be brought into it subconsciously and without thinking.  As some of the others say, get yourself sorted and when your happy get back into the game. Quite literally.

Games are great for the "alternate reality" but you need to fix what's going on with IRL as festering emotions or not dealing with stuff doesn't make it go away.  It takes a man to speak about his feelings, it doesn't take a man to hide them.  Anyway good luck, hope to se you on here and a +1 to TBJ statement on the heroics of firemen.

cheers

Thanks guys I will search help

but the thing is I don't know what hurts more my collegeus having burn wounds or those people that were trapped inside that houes died and knowing it could would be a different situation if were like 5 second earlier

Where and when did this happen? Was it at the Lotus factory at Wolvertem?
Try and talk with the RMO. It will do you good. Take care!

no it was a small house fire in region Kortrijk news din't really get through

@jari listen bro, things happen, mistakes occur and we let it pass, that's what life's about, I do not know ONE person who doesn't think YOU GUYS ARE HEROES. My dads friends a firefighter which is ironic as my dads a cop, but anyway, I love all the stories he tells us and how everyone looks up to them, if it wasn't for you where would we be? You guys are heroes. I love you guys, WE love you guys.
