Signature Issue

I'm trying to use an image for my signature which is 270 x 90 in size yet I get an error telling me the image is larger than the 300 x 100 allowed. Can anyone shed any light on this issue?

So it appears there are multiple allowances, I'm guessing based on post number or donator status. Still not sure why my image gets rejected though, this is what I'm trying to use as my signature:

270 x 90 in size so below what I am allowed.

I just tested to see if it would work on my signature and it did work..Strange

 
The problem is that it's not limited to 300x100.. it's limited to 100x300

(It's not about post count but donator status) since I obviously have alot more post than you guys and have the 100x300 limitation aswell :p )

and the 300x300 one is prolly cuz of Police/NHS tags.

I just assumed it was 300 width, I mean why would anyone have a signature that is taller than it is wider?! 

 
Thanks to whoever added the signature for me! You're amazing!! Could I ask one more little favour though, I can't amend the signature (same error as before) so could you edit the text under the signature so it only has the 'You done gone Papa'd it!' part and not the other bit please?

I'm having the same issue. Been changing my size to 300X100 then 295X83 but nothing seems to work.

Can't seem to get this monstrosity on no matter what, could it be something to do with the GIF anyone? Seen other people with them .

Edit: also anyone know why there's the flashing line on the left? not there on the original
