when i type to join the server directly it just goes to my recent and does not let me join server? any way to fix this?

You can alternatively press the "Connect Directly" in the launcher itself, to make sure it connects you directly to the server.

 The in game server browser is known to be bugged or not find some of the servers sometimes.

I do use connect directly and nothing happens when i click connect.

Make sure that your game is closed and only access the direct connect from the luncher.
