After doing my forensics training today it occured to me as to why LSPS have access to torches which display forensics at scene but the actual spotlight for a crimescene doesn't really do much.
I think changing the scene light so it behaves like a torch over a wide area would enhance the roleplay of major crimes and encourage proper scenes and cordons to be set up for forensic analysis.
Pro:
Increase likelihood of proper crime scenes being set up to encourage RP
Reduces the reliance on a torch at a scene so officers can hold things like cameras instead
Cons
Dev time
Could be seen as a "buff" to police
