A school won't make you cut all ties. So no you would not leave the school simple as. This is completely different in this case where "you" force it so you have to cut ties with banned members in order to stay here, that is the reason why people leave.
This misconception is annoying to see time and time again, you are not forced. You are given a choice on whether or not you wan't to stay in the community if your in contact with people who were exiled the community for serious reasons. So if your friend DDoS's players for saying they dislike that person and is community banned for toxic behavior as such it is asked you drop contact with that person. If your friend is banned for VDM the admins don't say you can't talk to that person. People your not allowed to converse with to be in the community are ones who declare a personal vendetta against the community and attack community members who do not share their thought process on the matter. Calling Wilco a nazi and attacking members of the community he spent a lot of time building is in my mind almost unforgivable because he is offering a service. A community to be apart of and have fun with other people and disrupting community operations destroys his customer base meaning members or potential members pass the community by because for them it may seem hostile. Your not forced, your given a choice on if you wan't to talk with people who were deemed severely unfit for the community or stay in the community and make many new friends or continue the sad cycle of people who leave even when their friends were in the wrong.
I'm referring of people leaving because friends are banned.
