Rules Feedback

So ur telling me that if you shot in to the sea then the bullet would not be effected sure its a little more extreme than IRL but then again if you are tazeing the water it would only just go into the water with not enough force to penetrate the person
It would depend on the distance - if someone was hovering on the waterline and you shot him, although it would do less damage than the same distance through air it's probably still going to fuck him up quite a bit... not in arma though. Rubber bullets would fuck you up, and considering most people stay literally just under the surface so they can go up to air quickly and not lose much speed when doing so - the server would be much better off without people doing this

Rules page is missing the rule regarding HM transport phase, should be something like this:
"During a HM, once the trucks which you plan on taking out have left the compound all HM-specific rules become null and normal server rules apply" - i.e. rebels can return to fight after NLR is over

(6.0.1) You must not abuse the boundaries of any marked zone on the map. Using the boundary to troll/taunt or temporarily gain protection is forbidden. whys this rule affect everyone other than the police?

they are currently allowed to flee to the blue zone that’s how it is. If they troll while it is happening for whatever reason then it is breaking the rule of abusing the boundaries.

@Oliver V2 its not a server rule as far as i know, and i'm sure UNMC can go to the FOB and and we cant attack without permission?

I just thought of this idea yesterday not sure on it though.

Using OCC Chat to your advantage Example Saying "How do I put my hands up" and while the person roleplaying with him writes out a note since the man could be new to the server so he says I will pass you and note and while the robber the writing to note the person getting robbed runs away into a car. Not sure if this is just scummy or abusing OCC.

Is that as UNMC or Smurfs? I thought you didn’t play as UNMC any more.
Should there be a difference wether its a whitelisted faction or not asking for permission? Reece has a point ye know, I have personally seen UNMC get permission all 5times since UNMC was created a year ago, and I am yet to see any rebels get permission, no matter their reasoning. I think its time to either restrict when people can enter a bluezone while something is happening, or have admins allow more bluezone attacks (with some rules set in place, police notified, propper negotiations, and a good reasoning to do so)

(Fyi, I have seen Reece on more as a General than as a Civ the past week)

Well proper feedback instead of the feedback I am getting from UNMC guys about Reece.

I have told the staff to create a database on base attacks so I can see how many people have asked and been accepted/rejected and trend it. If there is a good reason for an attack I have told them to authorise it and note the reason.

Ill have to admit that I`ve never personally asked for permission due to always heard of people either a. not getting a response, or b. just being told straight up no. (This could ofc just be rumours) But Ill start asking for permission when I see a good reason for it from now on

@Vladic Ka If we were ti ask for permission would you rather we do it though documents or just straight up ask in teamspeak, just with an appropriate reason.

still go on as unmc everyday 👍 just nice to play civ as well... wasn't aware i couldn't play as anything other than general.

would love to know whos talking utter crap.

id say we have attacked a bz 2 times since being in the unmc, the fact police can drive away and hide in a bz is silly and its even worse when your shooting at them they drive in a bz and then impound or scrap vehicles.

I think you and me both know the scrapping rule, we have to wait 5 minutes after shots are fired in a gunfight to scrap a vehicle so saying that we run in blue zone and scrap vehicles is utter rubbish!😉

I don't really know how this rule would come into play, but my patient got dragged away by 4 unmc officers when i was healing him as a medic, is there a possibility we could come up with a rule to prevent something like this? E.g once a medic is attending a patient, interfering without consent of the medic is outlawed?

Would like to see a rule regarding the "Pull-out vehicle" feature. I believe their should be specificity on when, and how this action is used.

I think that this action should always be RP'd and only able to be done on stationary/immobilized vehicles, As it stands their is little/no restriction on how this feature is used as I think a bit of clarity would help a lot.

E.G I have been pulled out of locked vehicles while driving off, with little to no RP. https://gyazo.com/88d225f070556cd214c8e40dbade9839

And there is varying comments on what is and isn't allowed, (I understand that common sense comes into play) but a rule in place, or some clear instruction from the staff team would go a long way. Thanks.

(5.4) When you are revived/downed:

You may not actively enter or continue any combat situation for the next 15 minutes.

Your character retains all knowledge of the time before they are downed.

While you are downed you may not divulge tactical information to anyone. The exception to this is information spoken in direct chat in game. Please be mindful that you are heavily injured and should act accordingly.

The same exceptions to the NLR rule also apply to this rule (VDM, RDM, glitches)
