RTA race event 09-05-2015

So well we recorded it all, not alot of participants, the winner won 2 millions, and some interesting happened at the end.

*Warning* long video

Looks great, didn't realise the time it was and I sadly missed it D:

Going fast in corners doesnt go well... I was in first till that damn corner :/

Nice video, shame you can't hear me at the end :(

It's also a shame that there was only four racers, thought there would have been more, with the new Hatch Sports skins making the vehicle look more like a racing car.

I'm got some feedback/ ideas, if you don't mind.

1. Have a routine with the races, i.e. have them every Saturday at 21:00 or every other Saturday. this depends on how committed you are to them.

2. Make it so, if the ARAC are present at the race, then the drivers aren't allowed to repair their own vehicles. This isn't so the ARAC get to repair everything, this is to make it fair. In the race some drivers had more toolkits than others, so some had to wait for us ARAC guys and some didn't, which was unfair. Also, giving the drivers a set amount of toolkits, wouldn't work either, as some driver may have the repair specialise skills which would give them an advantage. With saying this the ARAC Team will try their upmost to be at every race.

3. Having different races with different vehicles, not just Hatchback Sport. Not everyone can afford a Hatchback Sport, not everyone likes how the Hatchback Sport handles or how fast it goes and not everyone's pc can handle the fps when driving a Hatchback Sport super faster. So maybe have some SUV races or Off-roads races on dirt roads or even a Truck boxer race.

4. You gave out 2 million for the prize, which is a lot. After the race, you said they may be a entry fee for the next race. Now I like this idea because if you start doing these races a lot, you'll be out of money soon. Now I think instead of a entry fee, it should be a pink slip, and yes I know you can only trade vehicles using the ABay system. But instead of trading the vehicle you give the race host the amount you bought the vehicle for, i.e. the Hatchback Sport's pink slip would be £200k, so that's how much the racer would give the race host to enter the race.

5. If you think idea four is going a bit too far, then the race host could just double the prize money, i.e. if five racers enter the race with Hatchback Sports and pay the pink slip of £200k, that work out at 1mil prize money, so then the race host would double it, so it's now 2 mil prize money.

The only person at the race that looked like a racing driver was the race host, which was disappointing, remember this is a role-playing server and you don't just role-play with words, but how your character looks and acts. So it would be nice to see more people looking like racing drivers.

Thank you for reading and drive safe.

Please tell me where street racers dress like a racer? :)

I know what you saying, But the Hatchback Sports are looking more like racing cars now, so why not the drivers?

Thanks for the feedback, noted down, and Fabrizio will answer on this below, If anyone is in doubt i am his brother.

Hi AJ!

Thanks for participating, and yes sadly there was not alot, but you have to remember, that this was only one race, we have held two others before this, same route, in SUV's ()

so we keep hosting races, BUT as all others here i have a work to deal with, and sadly i can not say that i work weekdays, and have my weekend off, due to nigthshift, so i am hosting as many races, as i am available to.

Regarding your suggestions i would like to answer back below:

1. I have plans of hosting races 2 days per week, at 9 pm like last time, which days it will be, i will decide later.

2. Great idea!, no toolkits for race participants, only help by the arac, the only problem about this, is that the 1st place would be stuck for a long

time, if the ones in the back keeps crashing, which will make him see his victory fade away, when the last person in the grid overtakes him.

3. Already planned, and actually already done before, more dynamic events will come in the future, rumors are saying there will be a Ifrit race, and puppy will attend.

4. Yes entry fee for future races, to keep my economy stable, thoose 2 millions, was to attract more people to attend, instead of thinking i rather want to do diamonds, the pool will be lowered in the upcoming races, about pink slips, sounds like a great idea, but then i just need to relocate a place to start the races, where you can find an ATM, since people wont drive around with 200k on them, and i dont want to run around with 1 mil in cash. But great suggestions!

5. Could be considered, but first of all i need participants, before i do anything "drastic"

Hopefully i answered all your questions, but there is a lot to work on, even though i am putting time aside to do so, i still struggle with a few things, i will post a more "formal" post, when everything is sorted out, and i am satisfied.

- best regards Fabrizio Rizzo Rodrigues Hernandez

------EDIT------

Will add in future rules, that all participants, are obligated to wear racing outfits!
