RPUK Profit Calculator (Web-Edition)

I have seen that there has been a profit calculator for calculating the profit of runs in the past (link), where you select the vehicle and what item your are selling and it would calculate your profit for the run. With this being an application you must download and run it. I decided to create a web-edition of this, it's currently very bare-bones and all values currently have to manually be added (still working on updates that will automate most of this for you).

Again, this is the first installment of this and I am still working on making it function and look better. If you have any feature requests for it you can PM me or comment it below :)

Features:

  • Vehicle Selection
  • Item Selection
  • Expert Dealer Perk (Yes/No) Option
  • Amount of Vehicles
  • Distance Selection - Will take vehicle time / distance to determine ETA at top speed.
  • NEW: Location Selection option (different dealers give different profits)
This was originally created as a PHP version, which Joseph Tadworth re-write in JavaScript. The rewritten JS version is now the primary version that will be updated from now on.

If you find any bugs/problems add an 'issue' on the repo or contact me or Joseph Tadworth directly. :)

Features that are being worked on and will be added:

  • Vehicle Selection (Drop-Down box with a list of all vehicles with virtual storage)
  • Item Selection (Select the item your are selling - Would automatically detect weight/value and compare it to the vehicle you have selected)
  • Front-End Revamp (Making the user interface look pretty)

I love this! I'm most excited for the weight feature as i have no idea what most T menu items weigh.

This is what I'm least excited for, because it means I have to go on and collect one of every item on the server to see what it weighs xD

Nice one Kevin! I'll finally know what my midnight weed runs bring in beforehand! I mean, its a very nice and handy tool you've made that I definately will not use to count any profits from illegal activities.

Jokes aside, its a very nice and handy tool you've made, I knew you could do it mate :), keep up the great work !

 
Would I be able to share some information with Kevin for this @Wilcoin terms of making him a compatible API to plug into my current project to retrieve real time prices for items?

 
Been waiting for an updating version of this for a while.. So annoying spending an hour doing a run and you get next to nothing. @Freebzkeep an eye on this we be grinding soon lad

 
Just watched the stream of the making of it and it seems like an awesome thing it use and give to new comers just to let them know whats worth and what isn't.

Awaiting a list of item values / weights from @Wilco -  List I found on the forum seems heavily outdated.

All of the item weights will be selectable on it once we add them in.

Something that would really cool to get added is syncing between selling prices of items between this and the servers.

Oh and change the Hemmt Transport to Hemt transport uncovered. The covered one doesn't have any storage

Sounds like a good idea, recommendations can go here https://github.com/kevinp058/ALUKCalculator/issues also, would help to keep track of them! :)
