RP with female players?

Hellos!

Maybe that was asked a million times already but I'm still pretty new and it would be great if you could clear me up on this.

How are we supposed to behave while interacting with female players? It rarely happens but it does, and everytime I'm unsure if I should behave based on what I see (a male character) or what I hear (a lovely female voice xD).

So, I always don't know if i should consider them male, females.. Or shemales? XD Lol, I know, stupid question but .. That's it.

it would be great to have female characters too for the girls to play.. Seeing guys with beard with the voice of a girl really breaks immersion, somehow :)

Cheers.

I would say roleplay everyone as a male unless they state otherwise within roleplay. There are some young ones on the server that might sound like a girl, no offence to anyone. So best to let them tell you if they are a girl or not.

Obviously you might see a female name but then again, don't use that to influence how you roleplay as it would be metagaming.

Except when it comes to kazza. RP like everyone else does towards kazza (thirsty dogs)

DONT ASSUME GENDER PLZ

I play with my girl friend a lot and this happens all the time, we use it to or advantage to crest funny RP situations.

If you get confused by it just call everyone "friend" you can't go wrong there.

If I'm remembering correctly, I believe I found out about your double personality last night :p

But yeah, I'd just RP with everyone the same, you never know who's on the other end of the mic

Yupp, accidentally called a boy a girl at the UNMC border. I just say "bro" "friend" etc

I can't even remember what happened I just know it was hilarious

I'm pretty amazed bohemia haven't been put under more pressure to put female characters in the game. They exist in the real armed forces so I dunno why they don't put them in arma.

RP the fact that they had an operation and that they are transgender? I'm not a doctor so I don't know how this stuff works.

All I would reccomend is that you DO NOT say "Wait, your a women in a man character" or something like that since you are just breaking Roleplay. Also, you may get it completely wrong if you say that they are a girl when they are a 12 year old Boy. Just keep it relaxed since it may offend a lot of people (like me) so just pretend they are a Man.
