RP + no help by cops !

Guys i was just shot in athira with no warning player named : sweet-kisses, thats what he said, hello hello and bam shot me in the head, and took my truck, i was making some money by fucking apples takes me a lot of fucking time and then this idiot just shoot the fuck out of me for no reason, second text message cops or admins........   does it works or ? because people dont fucking answer , it is a good server , but u need to focus more on people who need help and ban or kick the retards who fuck the game up for yah !!! please help god damn

Hey mate, firstly, I know it's frustrating but take it easy for a second.

Secondly, what that player did was technically RDM and is a bannable offence on the server.

If you have video evidence of the incident, then make a post on the "Report a player" section of the forum.

(Dont forget to use the Report template!)

With the report, you can also create a comp request in the "Compensation Request" section of the forum.

If you list everything you lost, and link to the RDM report, you should hopefully get back what you lost.

(Dont forget to use the Compensation template!)

As for texting admins / police, I'll say this:

- Texting admins lets them know (if they are online) that someone is RDMing. This means they can observe the player in question, and if he is seen breaking rules, they can kick / ban the player as appropriate. They won't however, deal with compensation via the admin system. That's why we create posts on the forum for it.

- Texting Police. Firstly, it will always take time for the Police to respond to an incident, sometimes up to several minutes depending on if there are any available units or not in your area. Police can only attempt to track down the culprit and send him to jail.

Remember though, if you text the police, its all in role play. So its a bit limited on what we can do.

I would recommend 100% of the time, for RDM, let the admins know, and get busy with the video evidence on the forums to report the player / get your compensation.

Moving to report a player to allow poster the chance to edit this into a report.

If nothing is done to change this into a report within a few days I will move it to general discussion as it could also be seen as someone raising a point/asking for something to be cleared up.

It sucks what happened to you, but how fair would it be if someone was banned without evidence and fair hearing?

doesnt matter if u have memorys or not, this most be reported when u not play fair what the hell have this to do with it......

Because you're complaining about COPS not helping you. They're in a role. In a game. They aren't server admins.

So if you're dead and born again; cops can't help you without breaking RP.

Your issue is that an admin didn't sweep from the sky and ban that guy on the spot for breaking server rules. Why? It's on you to report it.

And dude, I'm giving you advice, not having a pop.
