I actually now love this game, but I have to have alot of mods installed to enjoy it :p

Anyone here still play it? If so post any vids, screenshots, mods you like to use or your favorite faction etc here. Also looking for someone to have a casual match against some time :)

 
Love all the Total War games :)

Rome 2 is great fun, been a huge fan of all Total Wars, so much so I made a video for Empire: Total War - After I did the video, the studio asked me to work on their cutscenes & trailers for Napoleon and Shogun 2! good times :)


 
Creative Assembly have gone from being one of the best and most responsive to the community makers... To literal shit. I'm not sure if it's them or pressures from Sega but literally since shogun 2 it's gone to the dogs, and the only thing really keeping the community together is the modders.

All these stupid little DLC's which should have been in the game anyway is just pissing me off, having to pay an additional £6 to play as a Viking in Attila, with its re-used content from Rome 2.

Don't get me wrong I LIKE rome 2 and Attila but they have not given me the same great gaming experience from when I was playing Medieval, and Empire total war.

 
Inb4 CA hate but... I've always enjoyed total war games and my recent acquisition of Total War: Attila was an excellent choice. I'd thoroughly recommend it :)

So @Mattjamco you don't feel like CA has been a prick to you? like, having to pay a total of £18 if you want to play 3 different cultures, and £2 for a blood and gore 10MB content.

 
I agree they're making the painful transformation into EA buuuut I still love the total war games, and hey nothing is perfect :p

I got the vikings expansion because I wanted to play the norse, don't feel like the cost to buy any more than that.

CA turning into EA- 1/10

The game itself- 8/10 too much water -IGN

 
Don't get me wrong as I said I Like the game as well,

But the North forefathers DLC (which I bought) is basically Saxons with reskin and like 2-3 unique units. The voices are re-used from rome 2. Attila feels like what Rome 2 should have been (but I guess you could say the same for Napolean and Empire).

I just wish they gave CA some breathing space and time. If you just look at Steam Reveiws so many people are pissed... And don't get me started on Pike Infantry -_-
