Road maintenance crew

So I had an idea where you could fix roads, potholes, whatever. The idea is that you get to go to a random checkpoint (anywhere on the map where there is a paved road) and use your alt button to interact with the job you're away to do and you get paid, could also make it where you require mechanic lvl 4 to join or make a new skill to make the fixing process faster.

+1 on this. Would make the it more interactive and "lively" driving out in the county also, needing to slow down, possibly stop while the road is repaired

The problem I see with this suggestion is the amount of rdm that can occur by accident

People usually speed. It doesn't matter if inside or outside the city areas. If a road is blocked because of "construction" they could run you over by accident if they don't react in time

It doesn't necessarily have to be so you're on the middle of the road, could make it where you can stand by the side of the road and you can use your imagination for the rest, idk.

I actually think for the better RP and realism that the person filling the potholes should be in the road

I see that point, but I also see another opportunity for Police RP, Ambulance etc if an accident happens.

i like it and to stop locals being well locals you should be able to place down cones and traffic lights which tell locals to stop and / or go around the lane closed. i like the idea a lot and will add to the environment of the city with more congested areas on the map

Want an orange Hivis and a red stop sign with a road close or diversion sign. 

1000% would fix roads in the day to hide my bad deeds at night.

As much as it could lead to more unfortunate sods being a victim of the bad drivers in the city, it would be a great idea to have as it could force people to drive more carefully and lead to nice RP's involving issues arrising causing roads to be shut (Trees on road, powerlines down etc)
