Retexturing

Hi, I wanted to try and retexture some vehicles and clothes in Arma 3, and I can't figure out what to do, what I need and that stuff of what I've seen on Google and Youtube. If anyone here could help me started with how I get the templates and stuff, it would be great.

I've been wondering that myself. I've seen templates and I can replace patterns,but I have no idea what to do with them.
