Myself and 2 other officers were on patrol, currently enquiring about a kidnapped member of CPS. The clip starts after we came down from Clinton, where the last panic was placed. With no clues to pick up, we went to look through pillbox. Still nothing found.
We then went to check up on an officer who was just released from being a hostage himself, where we found an abandoned police vehicle. I looked through the callsigns to see the PSU officer who's car it was, and then found he was not on callsign so most likely headpopped as there was no evidence of foul play or him injured anywhere. We was going to wait with the vehicle to see if he comes back, as obviously we don't want the car to get stolen.
This is where some bloke has shot Thomas Moody, incapacitating him, and then tried to shoot the other officer. I returned fire to ward him off.
So I will add the context of this was when a raid happened on Ballas, where a gunfight broke at their turf, not Pillbox. This was also before a horde of people were going around just shooting all police on sight around the city. So this to me is random. We in our car had not been involved in any shooting until that point, nor were we near the main shooting location, thus not involved in any situation. We also have not seen this guy at all or recognised the car as being dangerous.
Unfortunately do not had session ID due to distance but logs can be seen when Thomas Moody was incapacitated at 21:20.
