Me and a friend were in the process of doing a clam run, we saw a helicopter land nearby our area, we decided it was best to go as we presumed we would be robbed if we stayed. We hop into our trucks and drive away, we drove about 15 metres before being shot at with no initiation(0:50) from them due to the fact they were stood on top of the hill they landed on. We managed to get away without much damage being dealt to our convoy, they flew north and we headed in the direction of the clam processor, knowing that we needed to head north in order to find out the name of the player who -in our eyes- had failed to engage in RP before firing upon us. I headed to the processor to locate the blue Orca which they were flying, I spotted it about 200 metres away from the processor and went to find the perpetrators name. Not to my suprise I found him waiting around the corner of one of the rooms inside the clam processor(3:44). Shakey took me hostage and I complied. He then went on to lie, saying that "I shot at you because you did not comply to my orders" and "I told you to get out the truck and put your hands up", in additon later saying that I can "Go ahead and complain to the admins right now man" To which I said OK and he said "See you in TS man". This was later not the case as he refused to join teamspeak due to the fact the admin had said he "would not be present and we should either sort it out ourselves or take it to the forums" - Stoneman.

This file complaint against me is ridiculous, after i had flown over clams me and my friend spotted you doing a run and decided to rob you. You hurried back to your vehicles to drive off the 1st truck was close enough to me and i told him to stop the truck and get out he kept moving i told him again after he drove past me you can see in the video he is close to me to step out else i will engage and he instead decided to ignore me and drive off, knowing you were doing clams we sat at the clams processing and about 5 mins later you drove up and ran up the stairs breaking role play saying my name and shouting abuse (i like the way you cut that out of your video btw) this was not a fail of roleplay it was a fail of you not complying with my demands and resulting in me shooting. Also after while you were still talking smack you decided to pull a gun on me and shoot me which you died a tragic death, You also didn't include this and i bet if you killed me you wouldn't have went and reported me but you took to chat after your death in rage. If any admins need the full footage of the whole engagement please message me and i will be able to provide evidence of the whole situation and my point of view. Thank you

The first truck was close enough to you? That's strange considering the angle of the shots and the location in which they were fired from. That location in which being far up the hillside.

I had made it clear in OOC that whoever had failed rp that my intent would be to find their name/names, in hindsight I should not have said your name in game, but you also continued by telling me of all your "Video evidence" and how I would "See you in teamspeak". In addition to this my microphone wasn't even picked up so how would I be able to cut my audio out whilst having my friends still talking in the background, throughout the engagement you even hear one saying he has to go xD. Flawed logic by a flawed individual.

Also after while you were still talking smack you decided to pull a gun on me and shoot me which you died a tragic death, You also didn't include this and i bet if you killed me you wouldn't have went and reported me but you took to chat after your death in rage.

How this actually went down was that I asked him if he wanted keys to my truck, I gave him the keys, he looked inside the truck, I pulled out my gun, little did I know I forgot to reload it which was quite funny ;P and he shot me. I then went afk to upload my video. I don't think you want to accuse me of "Raging in chat" when chat logs can be viewed. I did however hear you shout "Fuck you" as you left, which was comical.

Overall from my point of view it is evident that you were simply mad that we ran, therefore you thought you might try your luck and fire upon us, in an attempt to get away with FailRP.

I just came back from work, i use playtv to record my moments and it deletes after the day i recovered the footage it still shows the incident but sped up by 1.5 and the audio is corrupt(delayed) it is unusable however i can still give it. I have a complaint about the footage he showed on how he cut out the bit where he ran up the stairs and how he didn't show the guy in the first trucks perspective. I went to ts and the guy that helped me told me to mention all this on the report. I'm willing to speak about it on ts or if a ban is to take place i 100% understand i'm sorry.

With that said, from the video we do have, You're not even remotely close enough for a hill walker on a calm day to hear any kind of initiation, let alone someone in a noisy 8 wheeler truck tearing through the countryside.  See below.

I chose this point as it was the first time you came into view however you began shooting a few seconds earlier when the 1st truck was even further away.

Let's assume you did shout for them to stop, why would you attempt to initiate on a vehicle that would have no possible way of hearing you?

Just send your evidence dude. This is going to go around in circles until you do. And as I said, my voice was not recording so even if I did cut something like that out, why the hell would it matter

I understand your video is corrupt for some reason but you said you still have a video, any chance you can even just provide that video anyway so we can see how close you were from your perspective?

Yeah i understand, i have no other editing software than the one that it got deleted from and i don't want to go through the troubles and like sky said it will just keep going round all day. I'm ready to be given the correct punishments sorry. I can provide a screen shot of my point of view from the video of where i was speaking but i dunno if this can provide enough evidence of my case.

@oShakey I've had a good think about this and have consulted with the rest of the staff team and we've come to a consensus.

You've done wrong and importantly you've put your hands up and admitted this. You're relatively new here and I understand there is a lot to learn.

In this scenario you have attempted to carry out some roleplay before shooting but as I've said it's your responsibility to ensure the other party can hear this. 

I'm going to issue you a warning for RDM.

(2.2) Random Deathmatch (also known as RDM) - Shooting at someone without engaging in any form of quality role play (eg. Giving enough time for them to comply with your order. Count downs are not considered quality roleplay, please at least attempt to create an interesting roleplay story before considering shooting.) is considered RDM. (Punishment is a ban).

I would like you to visit the rules page (https://www.roleplay.co.uk/rules) and have a good and thorough read through the rules, especially the RDM rule for which you have broken. Once you've done so I'd like you to jump on teamspeak (ts.roleplay.co.uk) and come to the support room.

Contact myself if I'm around otherwise wait for another member of staff. We will give you a short test on the server rules and proving you pass you will be free to re-join the server and continue playing. Please link them this thread so they know what's going on.

I will check if you have done so before re-joining otherwise I will be forced to put a ban in place.
