Please (in detail) describe the incident: At around 16:49 hours on 29th December 2022 I and other officers attended Mount Hann Road to deal with individuals who had been reported dealing there. When we arrived multiple motorcycles made off from us and a pursuit was initiated. During this pursuit, I noted on multiple occasions a vehicle registered to Scotti Jay Following the pursuit and even continued to do so as we headed north on Los Santos Freeway At this point, I clocked that he was driving in excess of 150 mph. Just before the tunnel near Palito Bay Scotti can be seen to have an RTC causing him to fall off his motorcycle at high speed. To which he gets up and just keeps running. Concerned for his safety initially I stop my car to check he is ok but also suspicious that he has been following the pursuit I draw my taser. I ask him to stop following with are you ok but between me asking him to stop and asking if he is ok he draws a pistol and begins shooting at me. I was able to use my taser to stun him, fortunately. I and to the best of my knowledge the police had not interacted with him prior to this and I believe he did not offer any substantial RP before resorting to lethal force, in my opinion, constituting RDM as well as fail driving for not RP any injury after a high-speed RTC where he came off his motorcycle. I did not discuss this with him prior to this report as I was unsure if i was going to report this until this morning and that he seemed particularly irritated in-game (unsure whether this was his RP or not) about being arrested. After the arrest and during the drive back to PD nothing is said as I received a phone call from my other half who was at work and as such muted my Mic The incident itself happened at just after 4:30 in with the previous time showing the start of the pursuit and after the arrested it is just the transport and booking into custody.

  1. Hello Avion, hope you are well. I want to start by saying that I am disappointed that you did not reach out and try to resolve this with me as I am sure we could have come to an understanding on your concerns or maybe I could have learned something that I had not previously considered. Wether or not I was annoyed in game or not I feel you should have at least made the attempt. In relation to the fail driving claim, yes I felt that you were chasing me at the time of my accident and yes I did suffer a crash. Following the accident my character did not suffer much if any damage. Having been in a high speed bike accident in the past and been thrown off my bike on following a collision and skidding god knows how far up a road with 0 injuries and only damaged clothing, I feel that this experience mirrored that. Had my character suffered damage that had resulted in the injury animation then yes, I would have roleplay these injuries to match my state. But again, from your POV at a distance I can understand your concern here, Wether I agree with it or not. In relation to the RDM claim I don't agree with this as although you state you weren't chasing me initially, as you can hear in the clip I assumed this was the case and as you approached with a taser in your hand, I am not going to take a chance of getting caught in possession of a firearm and narcotics. I feel based on the circumstances and how you approached me, I was well within my rights to do what I felt was necessary to evade arrest. Whilst I understand where you are coming from I don't feel it is very smart approaching someone you are suspicious of in this manner. If you are in disagreement with my assessment of the situation I would be more that willing to have a chat in discord if you would like to try and resolve this in a way that benefits both parties and would lead to overall better RP in the future. It's just the one incident just after 4:30 where you can see the riders speed, see him come off the bike at speed then appear to be perfectly fine running around

Except given that he drove past you at 2m30s clearly following other police cars, then you drove past him several times including shouting "Excuse me sorry" as you passed him at 03:50 in the clip (https://youtu.be/8UItk73YCls?t=230) it's fairly clear to me that if he were chasing you, he'd have been following you, rather than the other way around. If you were so convinced that the police were chasing you, why continue to drive along the same road as them? You could have turned off at any time if you believed the police were chasing you, instead you chose to follow the pursuit, fully aware of the weapons and drugs in your pockets, stupid move but those aren't bannable, otherwise the unban section would be considerably more full.

You're assumption, has landed you foul of:

(G1.2) Random Death Match (RDM) - Attacking another player without engaging in any form of quality roleplay is considered RDM. (eg. Giving enough time for them to comply with your order. “Put your hands up or I will shoot” and countdowns are not considered quality roleplay, please at least attempt to create an interesting roleplay story before considering violence.)

There was no interaction between the officer and yourself at all, other than the fact he had a taser in his hand because you were acting suspiciously, there was an opportunity for RP to happen, instead cut short by you resorting to violence to save gear that you unnecessarily risked in the first place by following an ongoing police pursuit, then coming off your bike like a clown.
