Hello,
During last night's RP, I had a few issues I'd like to bring to light regarding Roman Phoenix - a police character.
Last night, a group of individuals attempted to take Mr Phoenix hostage, and although successfully, I believe there to have been 3 rule violations in the process.
#1 - Not Valuing Life - This occurred at appx. 00:00 or just before, when we first attempted to take Mr Phoenix Hostage. He was in his car and refusing to comply, this happened for a few minutes, until a member of our group pulled a gun on Mr Phoenix, making him get out of the car. There was also a knife pointed at Mr Phoenix too. In this, he attempted to get out of his car and run back toward the Tongva Valley Petrol Station, which is the setting for this first break.
I do not have a clip of this personally as Medal was recording the wrong window. This statement can be corroborated by every present member of my group, and I believe there is evidence available from undercover officers in the area - but has been decided to remain private for now, due to it possibly containing sensitive information relating to an ongoing investigation.
#2 - Not Valuing Life - This occurred at appx. 00:50 where Mr Phoenix was in Zipties and was surrounded by a large number of members in the group. He knew at this point that there were weapons present, and knew that there was reasonable possibility to presume there were a lot more he hadn't directly seen either. Mr Phoenix was briefed, and let out of zipties to drop some of his items, to which he ran away from a large number of hostage takers and jump into the ocean, despite the gunshots and firearm aimed directly at him.
Proof: (The entire clip here is relevant, and more context (up to ~4 minutes before this) can be provided also.
#3 - New Life Rule - In a separate, but linked RP situation, Mr Phoenix was spotted speaking to the investigating officer into his own death. After being inevitably killed from running away, he respawned, went straight back to Mission Row and was in the holding cells. This violates NLR because my character had seen the police officer get kidnapped and was then informed in RP of his death by overhearing the police officer on the phone speaking to a named member of my group, who confirmed that he'd been shot. This can be corroborated by myself, the officer and the person that was on the phone to the officer - names can be provided if needed. I spoke in LOOC during the situation, in case Mr Phoenix was unaware, to which he provided what felt like half-assed roleplay, shouting "Mate my head hurts I've no idea what's going on".
I have a picture from this interaction, and the situation is able to be confirmed by the solicitor, both officers and myself who were present here.
