I was robbing the bank (With a hobo I met) and a gang turns up and claims to vigilantes. I finish robbing the bank and they all get distracted with the other person who was with me and i slip out the front door and jump in my car. As I drive off someone seemingly unrelated to the first gang turns up and shouts the old "dont drive off or I'll disable the car" and then shortly after proceeds to kill me. This was the user by the name of Ralph.


If he is with the first gang then I am okay with that since we had an exchange but if he is unrelated then that's pretty poor quality to just turn up and shoot a guy driving away. (I even drove in a straight line and if he really intended on "disabling my vehicle" and not killing me that could have been easily done. I'm more than happy to be robbed with some half decent RP) I don't have this first interaction on record since my shadowplay was set too low.

However, my main issue is not with Ralph but with his buddy by the name of Alex Walker. Alex runs up to my body and mumbles something I could hardly made out at the time, asks me for my last words, and then executes me. In fact I believe his only intention was to execute me for the cash and the short exchange was only extended by my rambling.

The absolute lowest quality of RP and I can only assume he wanted the money from the bank robbery. Listening back to the recording I am still not sure of half the stuff he said all I can gather is that it's something along the lines of not being able to give him the money.

It would be unfair of me to complain of their lack of RP without acknowledging my own lack of quality RP whilst downed but given the cliche circumstances I wasn't expecting any remote quality exchange between us. More so with Alex who introduces himself with "any fuckin last words then?" after Ralph had essentially only answered my question of why did he shoot.
 

Edit - I'm going to assume Ralph was part of the group there. I attempted to escape unnoticed in the chaos and he saw me pull off and gave me a respectable amount of time to stop the car. He also did also threaten to disable my vehicle rather than threatening to kill me so I think it's only fair to assume that was his intent and I knew the risk. I only put him on the report because I was unsure if he was just a random passerby but thinking back and looking at the video it seems he was part of the group.

I'd be happy to talk to Alex about this but from my perspective right now it comes across he has no real care for RP and based on this and another interaction with him it's seems pretty clear to me he has no interest in anything other than feel like his is "winning". From two interactions with him and his group of friends they went out of their way to push the limit just for the sake of making others experiences more boring  or making themselves feel like they "won". The other incident involved them stopping there car in front of mine, blaming the incident on me and with little rp they shot out all my tyres and asked for my repair kit. I think that says a lot about the pettiness of this group. That's not RP that's just annoying people.

This probably sounds like me just being bitter but I have no issue with executions and inconveniencing people but the pure lack of RP for them is a terribly boring experience. You can play the "bad guy" and still make it an enjoyable bit of RP rather than doing stuff like what is essentially VDM then inconveniencing the player with hardly any exchange of words.

Ok @Aggressive Sloth, I initiated on your vehicle, you drove off, by driving off you are taking the risk that not every one of those bullets is going to hit the tires/ car. By driving off, you are fully aware bullets are going to start flying your way, and it is a very real possibility that not every single one will hit the car. So in this situation, one bullet did not hit it's target and instead hit you, you took that risk by driving off.

Edit: I'm more than happy to explain me accidentally ripping you out of the SUV in TS if you wish. 

Edit 2: I have noticed a severe lack of evidence here, you have Alex's interaction only, I also believe staff require 5mins before the situation but not sure.

@Ralph the Hobo Could you state if you were part of the group in the bank or you had just turned up as I was about to drive off?

If so then my issue isn't so much with you. The interaction was limited with and your initiation gave me plenty of time to stop and whilst I don't believe you really cared if you hit the person inside the car or the tyre I do accept it's difficult to be accurate with a rook. 

Given the situation you were limited in options considering my sneaky escape out the door. So again if you were part of that group you didn't really have any other option and although I don't have it on recordings the members inside of the bank had asked me to stop what I was doing (Shortly followed by the hobo I was with causing the distraction I mentioned.)

My issue is mainly with Alex who made it clear from the start he had no intent to role play or any intent other than shooting me in the head and grabbing the cash from my body.

I wouldn't even have minded being executed to get the cash. I get it. It would be boring for you to wait for a medic so you can then rob me but simply saying "Any last words" and then going on about not fucking with rebels (Even though he was about to execute me so how would a dead man fuck with people?) is probably the lowest quality "RP" possible. This wasn't a case of being left without any other choice like it was with me driving off this was just a total lack of wanting to do anything other than get a decent lump of cash.

 
I am with the group inside the bank, however I arrived to the bank as you were about to drive off, and as we were trying to talk with you all, I saw you escaping so I initiated on tyres as we wanted you there so we could try to find out what was going on @Aggressive Sloth.

 
@Ralph the Hobo In that case what you did was fine that was just a misunderstanding since you were not wearing similar clothes as the others and had just turned up it looked like you just a passerby.

@Alex Walker Appreciate you reaching out but from what I have seen it seems like you just see the rules as a hurdle and you just try to loosely justify doing what you want.

In my opinion the rules are there to try and help RP be more enjoyable not to slow down your killing spree. I don't have much more to say beyond that.

I understand that I was a stupid action and I didnt think about what I did right there, and I fully agree with "In my opinion the rules are there to try and help RP be more enjoyable" It was a one time mistake and I can promise you that, Lately I have been not roleplaying anymore and just robbing. This report makes me realise that I want to stay and not just kill people, I want to focus more and the Roleplay side of RPUK and not the Killing or robbing. Im sorry for my actions. If u want talk talk about it or resolve Im more than happy to do that. Hope there is no more problem between us or this report.

 
@Alex Walker Appreciate the mature response. So I'll consider it solved.

Nothing wrong with playing the bad guy but just give people a chance to have some fun with it.

Again thanks for the maturity we're all just trying to entertain ourselves at the end of the day 🙂

Yeah I stopped doing that and this report has made me realise it. Thanks for making me think about my actions I will from now on think more about if its fun for the other player instead of just me
