I was just doing my thing, gathering diamonds and helping in chat. PLAYER 2 just randomly shot me, also said that it is my fault because I had a weapon on and it was an active gunfight. More evidence is available if it's needed.

Hi, 

I am PLAYER 2 in game at the moment and wanted to give my side of the situation. 

Me and 2 others went to diamond mine to go and rob a truck that was already there, while we are talking to the owner of the truck a friend was lockpicking it just out of view. The owner of the truck had told us that he was finished with his diamonds and just waiting for his "Convoy" to arrive. Once they had the keys they drove off and the remaining people at the mine drove off in the SUV that we arrived in. As we are driving away we start taking shots without any initiation, we drove around the hill and started looking for the party that had shot at us. 

Another truck arrives following the truck we stole, that truck that was following us had 2 occupants in it, a friend runs out as he has no gear and starts trying to speak to one of them, he jumps out and says that we just stole his friends truck and they wanted it back. My friend hot mics and say that he has a large gun on his back at which point I take him out as we had just taken shots and that person was part of the "Convoy" that shot at us.

The situation with the reportee falls down to an armed rebel at the diamond mine minutes after one man was already shot, we took the stance that the reportee was a member of the convoy trying to relay information while he is doing diamonds to disguise the fact he is a member of the convoy. 

So that is why he was shot and killed in this instance, I apologize if you were not a member of the convoy but during an active gunfight we are not going to take that risk and thus you were shot. 

A few things I would like to add are:

1. You did not attempt to resolve this with us in anyway whatsoever, no once was I called to Teamspeak to try and discuss what had happened. 

2. You disrespected myself inside chat calling me a "prick" and a "Dumbass", screenshots provided.

On top of everything could you provide a video that is 5 mins long up until you get shot.

No, I don't have 5 mins long video, because I don't record all the time and that was shadowplay shot video.

You just said that I had a gun and that's why you killed me and that I can ask admins about this, so I just went to the forum. I was not involved in your shooting, there was no way I could have known that there was some kind of shooting. I just got shot from above and that is pure RDM, you didn't warn me or try to contact me. What kind of threat I was, I didn't go around and check around anything. I was just doing my thing. Yes, I had a gun on my BACK, because there was no space in the backpack. It is your own fault that you mixed this situation like this. You RDMed me, and you can't just call it as a mistake. And please, don't start to cry that I called you a prick and a dumbass.

And I would like admins to decide. I did not consider it to be necessary for me to ask you to come to the TeamSpeak and talk about all of this. I am pretty new to the Arma 3 roleplay and the rules here are strange, so I went straight to the forum, told my version of what happened and the admins will get the final call.

Like what is this, why should we have 5 min long video? I can't be running 5 mins of shadowplay without a massive loss of FPS. I am pretty sure that you can see everything you need in the video. I didn't do anything that looked like I was interested in attacking him or being a threat to someone. Why would I even come to the forum if that wouldn't be an RDM? To get my 100k loot back? I won't get it back anyway.

We need a 5 min video to make sure there was no interaction between you and player 2 before. Well unfortunately we cant go on people their words. it would not be the first time people come to the forums with they thought it was rdm, And  were staff thinks different.

What about game logs, don’t you have them? It really shows that i could RDM and get away with it, because most of the people don’t have 5min records. I can see a change in rules there, that is my suggestion, anyway, you can shut down this topic, it won’t get anywhere anyway.

Since you're asking about logs. What exactly do you think these logs would show? That you spoke to eachother and our logs somehow recorded word for word what was said? Or do you think we can somehow pull up a recording of the incident from our database? 

I'm genuinely curious, what do you think these logs would show us if we were to look?
