Pulled over in agios as I was waiting for a friend, I went in a 2 story building and looked out the window to see a guy with a black tracksuit try to look inside my car. I thought this was unacceptable so I initiated. I gave him enough time to comply and he didn't do as instructed so I neutralised him. As I went down to my vehicle the geared player killed me with no initiation. He then screamed profanities and executed me. In my opinion this is unacceptable behaviour for a server with the strict rules on roleplay.

Ok so now that I can see the video I will go ahead and deal with this report.

Firstly, I believe Nathan shouldn't have shot you without any warning as it was impossible for you to know that he was with the person you killed. Nathan then goes on to offer a poor RP execution as well as breaking RP. Therefore action will be taken against him.

However, I believe you to be in breach of the RDM/fail RP rule too.

[SIZE=medium](7.1.3) Killing someone must be carried out with high quality roleplay, “put your hands up or I will shoot” etc is considered low quality RP and may lead to a ban for RDM/Fail RP. Executing another player must also be carried out with high quality roleplay, the only exception to this rule is if both you and the victim are engaged in a gunfight together. [/SIZE]

You literally said "Oi guy in black, put your hands up or you will be shot" repeatedly, which is remarkably close to the example in the rule. The player was apparently new and you could even hear him starting to ask "how do I-" which is when you shot him. Do you really think this level of roleplay is acceptable? That's not how we do things here. You are expected to have a decent RP exchange with someone and not just to do the bare minimum in order to shoot someone.

With all this in mind, I will be taking action against you for 7.1.3.

Action taken:

Nathan - 2.2 RDM 7.1.3 - 1 day ban

Luco Bond - 7.1.3 - 2 day ban
