Please (in detail) describe the incident

Both guys were restrained in the back of our vehicle then exploited the fact that our car had to be open to take their radios and GPS's to jump out and commit suicide. I tried resolving to which one of the fellas (John Wilkinson) was fairly considerate of what had happened where as the other (McChubs) was very aggressive and both denied any wrong doing explaining that they were 'Roleplaying as people who didn't value their lives.' @Ram was in attendance of the resolution and informed me to report both of them.

Their attitude while trying to resolve it on teamspeak was really bad. " i didn't want to go to jail so i jumped out the car " talking over us / etc.

I was in the teamspeak room as of why I'm commenting.

After @Ram pulled @Crumbs out to speak to him, I remained in the room and caught them possible saying "Fuck them, they're cunts", "Fuck it, we're getting banned lets hop to another server".

I have to address this. For one, how could you take a radio/GPS off someone whilst driving? Were you reaching over from the driver's seat to take it off me? I was very considerate and polite on teamspeak; no less the police had to be muted to prevent them talking over us. I explained, very concisely, that it was part of a roleplay -- I don't believe it's impossible that in real life, a person could be so dead set against prison that they'd leap to their deaths. I also explained how tiresome I found the typical 'hands up! 5, 4, 3, 2, 1' -- we prefer to actually play a ROLE instead of 'mental copper miner'. It was certainly an oversight not to explain our intentions, owing to being on Skype and discussing it, but the clash of minds was this: they explained that in real life, police cars have the back doors locked, yet called my roleplay too literal, based on real life.

Secondly: 'possibly saying' is not 'actually saying'. Total hearsay. At no point did we say anything of the sort. Saying 'well this sucks' is not 'these people are cunts'. As frustrating as it can be to deal with the possibility of being banned, we're both grown adults in our thirties. Our points were clearly stated, and I don't believe we're in the wrong. Poor roleplay possibly, but misguided than intended.

i muted the channel to prevent you from talking over @Crumbs

McChubs isn't to blame here, he tried everything to resolve the issue and shouldn't be banned what so ever. I definitely should be banned tho because it was my idea to role play as a suicidal islander. Regrets? None, it was fun whilst it lasted, back to the REAL world ;)

I have got my names mixed up in the initial response regarding the resolution. My apologies. I do however still believe that you were both denying responsibility for your actions.

Denying responsibility implies guilt -- neither of us were aware of that particular rule. And while it's easy to argue 'the rules are on the website!', they're so extensive and numerous it becomes almost ludicrous to remember all of them. I think we've shown ourselves to be sensible, down-to-earth people who enjoy the game. I'd argue that point further, actually: I roleplayed being an alcoholic in need of help with someone playing police, and it was resolved so perfectly that it made the game worthwhile. We aren't RDMers, idiots, or people who think 'hands up' is the pinnacle of roleplay. That's particularly rare on the server -- even medics and the police are guilty of the odd poor roleplay. It's laughable to suggest we thought it'd be great to glitch out of a vehicle, after extensive, and successful roleplay. We're passionate, dedicated roleplayers who actually understand what it is to play a role as opposed to 'it's just me but I'm saying hands up'. Fair enough if we'd done this over and over, RDMed in a greenzone, crashed vehicles into others for a joke -- but we haven't. Banning us would be a detriment to the community, and I do believe that. When you come to be known by your voice and roleplay alone, you become aware you're not taking anything away, but adding it.

It was as much the conduct of your friend throughout the resolution as the initial offence that lead to this report, I was advised to make the report by a Ram who is a Member Support Team Leader and one of the most neutral guys you could have for a resolution because of the way you acted. If that doesn't tell you something about the way you dealt with the situation then I don't know what will...

I don't believe I acted out of sorts in any way. What can I say? Sometimes we have too much to drink and things like this should be left for another day. Now if we were brand new players, then by all means chuck the book at us and say be done -- but his roleplay is so exemplary I think he and I deserve another go at things. He's a person that cares so much about the actual roleplay of 'a roleplay server' that he differentiated between low and high roleplay. He, I, and our little group genuinely CARE rather than just 'oh my vehicle was robbed of peaches, I'm going to RDM'. Everyone has a bad day. It would be a savage detriment to the server to ban us.

I fully agree with why you'd want to ban me on the part of my resolution and can't argue against that at all. I had a few drinks and could easily have handed it a lot better, no excuses. Apologies if I offended anyone.

McChubs on the other hand, in my opinion doesn't deserve to be. I'm more than happy to take full responsibility because I honestly believe it's the correct thing to do in this situation, as I personally feel i'm far more to blame.

Flag me down in the streets of Kavala, kick me off the island to never return, perhaps have me play a special role within the community as town idiot, whatever the case, do what you want with me as it's only what I deserve.
