Please (in detail) describe the incident: Whilst patrolling, I responded to reports of drug dealing outside Cypress Tower where I saw a large amount of individuals on motorbikes. There were lots of individuals dealing in what I assume must have been the hotzone at the time. I am in a marked police vehicle so my presence is known immediately. I begin to drive around using ANPR to capture reg plates and this begins to draw comments from the drug dealers. All that is said are comments such as make sure you get the plates and you're not that guy pal.
A few moments go by where I continue to scan reg plates. I am not saying anything to them and they are not saying anything to me other than an odd "fuck off". There is no substantive conversation and no roleplay. I was in effect powerless to deter the drug dealing so I elected to put on the lights and sirens of the patrol car in order to disperse the crowd.
This does not have any effect and the group continue to make their money openly selling drugs. As I am driving around attempting to disperse the crowd, not a single person in the group asked me to leave the area or engaged with any roleplay with me. No one spoke with me and I spoke with no one as people just continued to openly deal drugs. My objective was to cause disturbance to the dealers with the view to move them on from the area.
As I was driving around, a few of the ballas begin to hit into my car and prevent me from driving around. All that was said is "you are not that guy". The ballas car then begins to ram me. I asked them why are you ramming me to which they replied via pulling out an SMG and asking me to get out of the car. I drove off before anymore Ballas could draw their firearms in an attempt to escape. I was then chased down and shot outside MRPS.
At no stage was I issued with any warnings to leave the area. At no stage did anybody engage with any form of roleplay with me. It is as if a large group of drug dealers dealing in the middle of the day was perplexed and confused that their open drug dealing would attract police attention. People in OOC stated that it was baiting. How could police responding to crime be baiting, what is the purpose of police then?
I asked the Ballas to come to QE but was met with this message; https://i.gyazo.com/fe0fcca38e17b9083906f7337174a744.png. However, after a few moments a few ballas did come to QE and claimed that me driving off was NVL and stated that they did nothing wrong. When the Balla member drew his gun, he was the only one to do so and they also left a gap for me to drive off. It would have been a different story had they coordinated the action however, only one gun was aimed at me and I was facing in a direction that I could escape so I elected for that option.
Police responding to crime and utilising dispersal tactics when a response cannot be initiated is done every day on the server. People want to deal drugs with impunity and forget that this is a roleplay server with a police service - of course there is going to be a response if police are online. Not one person engaged in any substantive roleplay with me prior to drawing a gun and shooting at me apart from saying "fuck off" and "you're not that guy pal". Do people want to roleplay on the server or do they want to grind to make easy money, doesn't seem like a very sustainable philosophy.
