What best describes this incident ?: NVL

Please (in detail) describe the incident: On 10/03/2023 at around 23:00 I get in to a hostage situation when 3 people took me and a friend hostage at the smeltery
After a talk I managed to get what appeared to be the leader to let my friend go and his 2 accomplices weren't very happy with this
After some further driving to somewhere in the hills, the "leader" 228 wanted to let me go and again the accomplices weren't happy and decided to take matters in to their own hands and brought me to the top of a hill to question me to determine whether or not I was really coalition and after some questioning they were happy this was the case and decided to let me go and turn on their leader.

At this point (around 23:15) it is debatable as to whether or not 228 NVLs when the 2 turn on him and point their blades at him when he runs.
The first guy does aim at 228 but due to a bug his friend teleported in front and thus the lock changed targets as 228 runs.
After a short chase one of the guys falls down and hill and downs himself, I thought the second guy got eaten by a mountain lion and went to investigate.
I felt at no fear for my life as both parties were going to let me go and I went to investigate.
One of the guys had voice box issues and as we were attempting to communicate 228 downs us both with his vehicle and proceeds to put all 3 of us in the car. No issue here.

228 attempts to dump the 2 guys (and possibly myself but at this stage I'm sure he was still going to let me go and bring me to hospital) but he has forgotten to take their radios which resulted in one of them pinging NHS. This occurred maybe 2 times and upon being moved a third time, a fellow member of Coalition comes across us at the oil field and proceeds to follow to determine whether or not I am in the car.
Josh and other members of Coalition were actively looking for me following information from Will (the guy they let go earlier) and when found, 228 assumes that the two accomplices have meta gamed and proceeds to talk about "DMail" being used to find him.

The time here is approximately 23:30
228 then stops to converse with Josh who then tells him to get out of the car which he then does and immediately runs at Josh with a Machete despite the gun still being aimed at him. This is where we have issue with NVL and asked 228 to come to discord to discuss the situation after things had concluded.

228 came to discord and we had a conversation about why we believe he NVL'd. Unfortunately he was not receptive to feedback and continued to be aggressive and berate those present (Josh, Myself and one of the other guys who were downed in the back of the car)
We tried to explain our side but he had seemed to be fixated on his belief that there had been Meta involved in how he was found and that even if he had NVL'd then we are to blame because he was found and were only interested in the Win and our Egos.
After explaining to him that other than finding myself there was nothing to be gained or saved here and in actual fact, I had enjoyed myself so much during the scenario (up to the NVL) that I had planned to argue that he be let go as he was really sound during the whole thing. Alas, he again was not interested and I can understand that my last comment there could indeed be a lie and he would have no way of knowing that or than letting the scenario play out as it should have.

After some back and forth and getting no where 228 then leaves the discord call and no resolution was made.

Hey mate. 

This is the attitude that we received in discord that I was talking about.
At no point did I want to report you but when you act like this, there is little choice left in the end but to proceed with a report and hope you listen to the staff in order to see sense. 
It is a shame it had to come to this as I truthfully did enjoy the scenario for the most part and the other interactions I've had with yourself on this character and (correct me if I'm wrong) the old lady Ursula.

In response to your meta gaming claims, there is 40 minutes of footage there, as close to start to finish as I had.
I hope you take the time to watch the footage for yourself and come to understand where we were coming from in the discord call.

Nice self report for meta gaming bro, but yeah I mean there is an argument for NVL there however considering my character was probably going to be killed anyway after downing and kidnapping 3 of your men he might aswel have taken the risk that his attacker was a poor shot and it turned out to be rewarded so really he valued his life more in this situation, maybe if there was more than one of you, you would have a stronger case.

Staff can decide on your meta gaming claim if you feel that strongly about it, they have footage of the whole scenario to go by. In actual fact, if you feel that strongly about it I would encourage you to create a report, provide your own footage and also use my footage with my full blessing to pursue this claim further.

Just to set the record straight, the 2 guys with you at the start. I have no clue who they are nor are they part of "our group", only met them last night myself. They clearly knew Josh as per their reaction during the events that occurred but I cant really see Josh meta gaming to save them when The Coalition were out looking for me. 
Did have a conversation with one of them following our liaison where has passed on some interesting information about yourself (OOC of course) but I wont go in to that, have a feeling staff might pick up on it regardless. 

In terms of NVL, I'm glad you can acknowledge there is at least an argument there. Subsequent to that, one would argue that, had he shot you instantly then he would be in breach of the RDM rule but alas, 2 wrongs don't make a right. Had you "valued your life" he would not have had to have taken a shot at you. Poor shot or not, NVL is NVL. 

Final comment from myself as I can see the case is being reviewed. Whatever staff decide here Bernard, I wish you the best because at the end of day we are playing a game. I only ask that you try to at least take aboard feedback in the future or at least be open to a conversation without resorting to childish behaviour as I did enjoy the scenario and other scenarios prior, you're a good laugh in a city that's a bit too serious sometimes. 

If staff have any other requests I am more than happy to answer as best I can.

@rabsterdamTy bro, yeah I'm not going to report ya, I have thought about it and believe you probably were not meta gaming, just happened to find us and recognized the purple car. Just I've noticed alot fishy situations in the city where people meta game and now I get paranoid about it even when its not. I was a bit of a dick on discord I know, I apologize. Yes indeed I've been having alot of fun with all you guys over the past few days.

Personally if you had shot me straight I wouldn't have taken it as RDM, I would have been salty about it but clearly Josh had been previously involved in situations interconnected that day so I would have accepted it.

Still don't understand the mentality of wanting to get me banned thought, I don't have it my heart to do that to someone unless they are a complete dunce, which you consider me not?

@rabsterdamJust to clarify due to recent comments, would you like this reviewed by the staff team or are you planning on having another liaison with the player?

Thanks for bringing this player to our attention. 

The player in question has already been banned for prior rulebreaks. 

The NVL clip also shows him clearly not valuing his life when the pistol was pointed at him. This will be added to his record.
