I think that being able to aim in after pulling a gun out when in a vehicle should be delayed by a second or so to remove the possibility of being able to shoot in 3rd person. I now know there is a system which can detect this but to add on to that it will ensure people will keep guns on their laps or have to wait a second before aiming in.

I do feel that it is sometimes accidental that people go into 3rd person but this will make sure that people do not get themselves banned or exploit for not having the chance to go back into 1st person for example if they are being shot at and pulling their gun instantly.

Do I understand correct that your suggestion is to add a small delay when aiming a gun while in a vehicle?
I get your point, but I dont see it fixing the issue. All it will force is players to start aiming sooner.

I am positive that, if a genuine mistake happen and you end up getting in 3rd person instead of 1st person and you correct it right after, instead of abusing it and shooting in 3rd person, you will not get any consequances on it. The exact meaning of exploiting - "make use of (a situation) in a way considered unfair or underhand."

I don't think its something that can be fixed with it being a base GTA V thing to go straight into 3rd person.. but I do believe there is a setting to go into 1st person when shooting.. so maybe that could be put as default for the server???

Eh don't think adding delays to aiming would really fix it, besides most of the people who were abusing it are gone now so wont be as much of an issue XD

Like I said in help channel, I made a fix a few weeks ago however it's better to catch out the people exploiting it before implementing the fix which is what we did.
