Rebels doing Laps waiting to be inishated on and killing instantly

So once again it has happened and that why i am posting this so we can try and sort this shit out.

What happened-

On NIU patrol when we are start to try and pull over a truck leaving the Meth Lab. When we put our sirens on he drives forward 100 meters and back a hundred meters and stops. He keeps repeating the whole drive forward and back until he has friends arrive to kill us. He does this many times so we tell him to jump out the viechal and try too take out his tires because he leaves again. Like seriously this happens all the times and its just piss poor RP. Why do people even do it. People complain that cops are trigger happy but then we are shot when we try too issue on a chopper. 

I mean is there some rule on this because it is just complete piss poor rp and it is not fun for any officers. We know need to jump out and say jump out the car blah blah before we engage on tires. But now when we do this we are instantly shot at. It isnt any fun and its just plain fail rp/ baiting because your clearly just wanting to do it too kill rather than have some good RP with people.

Can i have some imput from a Dev / Admin because i need to know if too take this further. I know many people who just hate being a cop because of it and are / have left the police for it. 

@Wilco - If you wouldn't mind putting any feedback on this because it is starting too annoy a lot of people.

When I'm roleplaying that I'm part of feared mafia who runs drug trade and police catches me when im gatherin weed example in my truck. After that I start driving away. Since police is chasing me, they know what I was doing. I think that its not even close to poor rp if I engage and police and they ends up dead or we end up dead. 

Correct me if I'm wrong but do you mean that we do bad roleplay because we do not stop for you when you are trying to pull us over because we were doing drug business? When I am doing drugs. I roleplay as I am doing drugs. So I'm not going to roleplay that I have tea in my truck because in reality its weed and I'm going to go to drug dealer to sell the weed. If I roleplayed it as tea and after that ill end up selling it to drug dealer as weed. that is fail rp. Same thing if I were roleplaying that my gun is a fishing rod and after 2minutes I use my fishing rod to kill people.

In this roleplay scenario I'm wanted heavily armed man who  commits a very serious crime and there is police who's job is to get people like me behind the bars. So it doesnt make sense to me to come to have a nice friendly conversation about todays weather. To me roleplay is not only words. Its actions also and how you show them what kind of character you are roleplaying.

I see your point Hoggie, but in the scenario you did talk about. I dont think so its about baiting cops and wanting to kill them. They are at met lab for one purpose and its to do meth run obv. The point of them being there is not to get cops after them and have a shootout.

edit. I dont get it why people thinks that if you are not speaking a lot its a bad roleplay. I disagree. When you are doing copper, iron, weed, cocain or just driving around with your fancy SUV or brand new hatchpack sport. Its all roleplay. When it comes to how good you roleplay it it comes how good you show what kind of character you are roleplaying.

@Rikuthat was put so well, it's bringing actual tears to my eyes.

'  do it too kill rather than have some good RP with people  'No there doing a Meth run. your in there way, your there to stop them and arrest them. The only RP your going to find is a shootout, them protecting there drugs. Thats GOOD rp, if they didn't value there drugs enough to shoot back as soon as you shoot tyres then i'd say it's BAD RP.

- On the note of the Hemmt driving around, Yeah he's stalling waiting for backup, happens in real life. happens everywhere, even in Altis Police force. It's a well used tactic, stay moving and safe until help arrives. You shoot at his tyres they return fire. Don't want them to return fire? Don't shoot at their tyres.  It's a very very simple concept. @SPC Hoggie

 
This goes both ways, also if they are doing drugs it's pretty hard to RP out of it so they will run and if it means driving back and forth to wait for my pals to come and back me up so be it

This, This right here!!! People need to realise as long as you play a role its roleplaying... You dont have to speak to roleplay. (Ofc you do on this server because of the rules and such, but otherwise roleplay is playing a role, not speaking a role..)

 
I've personally never come across a yo-yoing rebel in their car, however it does make it difficult for us to catch the perp and restricts the situation to a gun fight.

All I'm going to say is if you don't want a gun fight don't shoot their tyres. I fucking hate it when someone shoots tyres and I know that there's going to be hostile around waiting for that shot so they can kill every cop that drives by. I fucking hate it. 

Try use spikes as you and them still have to initate. It's not the same as shooting their tyres for some oddball reason so it makes it safer for cops. 

 
@SamatlewissThats it. Spike strips are literally the cryptonite of rebels, because as soon as the trucks spike stripped we have to get out and initiate - whilst surrounded. meaning the people in that truck either fight and die, or RP and get arrested. The one counter to rebels right there  :Crying2:

To be fair see it this way. I go too pull over a rebel. He does about 5 laps around me , wanting to inishiate on me so they can kill me. Then i am shot when i engage on tires to restrain him , not trying to kill him. He does laps on me so i initiate too tell them too stop , they don't so i take tires out. Then i am shot by a sniper with no word. This is what happened and keeps happening.  Do you see this as Fail RP / RDM/ baiting, because i do. Just because we engage on tires does not mean we are going to kill you. We are trying to stop what you are in. If you jump out with a gun and look at us , then that is a different story as you probably going to kill us.

We are here to RP , getting tires shot out does not give you the all clear to kill us when we are trying to stop your truck and you have not RPed. Clearly there will be some mildly biased view going on as your a rebel but really i wanna know if its a ban able offence for it.

You understand that you can RP. Like there is always snipers on the hill. Its RDM/ fail RP , as you dont say there and they shoot If you say we have snipers on the hill and you tell us to leave , then we will value our life. But not getting shot , just because they had a tire shot out as we want to restrain them.

 
Surely that's just baiting and in itself capable of reporting. If it's exactly as you described, record it and have a chat next time. People don't talk about trigger happy cops, they talk about everyone being far more trigger happy lately.

 
@SPC Hoggie This isn't aimed at you personally but no, half of them don't value there lives. Every single time. No.Joke. that i've got out my vehicle, house or spot and told them nicely that they will be shot if they don't ' fuck off ' or step away from my vehicle, they instantly restrain me and spread out - leading to me being just another useless body in a firefight. Not worth it.

As you see its baiting cops then it is banable. I put this post because people need to be aware it is wrong. I have spoken to the person and he admited that him and his gang did all wrong doings by it and it was sorted. But clearly doing laps waiting to be inishated and shooting when you have not said shit is wrong and people need to stop doing it.

Also yes some cops are trigger happy , so take it too command and they will sort them out.

I understand , but you see why i am trying to make people aware of this. No rp and cops shooting tires does not give the all clear too kill us. It makes it even worse when no one has said a word , and we get snipped while the driver is driving.

Please don't argue this out as its a matter of perspective coming from us civilians, we have no say in whether or not this perticular situation is allowed, or anything like this is infringement of server rules.

Hoggie I am sure you are well aware that posts like this ALWAYS cause some sort of discrepancy between cop/rebel.

@WhoisDan said he is happy to answer questions on teamspeak so I am sure he could supply you with an answer on there instead of having to take community opinions that mean fuck all (mine included). Maybe the admin outlook on this could be expressed at the next rebel/civ/cop meeting on Sunday (whenever the next one is) so everyone is aware of the particulars to save more troubles for both parties and the sake of hours of teamspeak discussions with pointless YouTube uploads.

Cops shooting at tyres is initiation, and should be fire upon for doing so. Circling a cop or doing something the same is wrong. If your being chased - Drive away, actually AWAY from the situation. Normally i do that and if they proceed to follow i drive them to a secluded location where i can scream ' if you get out, your dead ' thats simple enough initiation and gives everyone a choice, leave or a firefight. I do agree that circling with vehicles or driving up and down a 10 metre road is baiting however.

@Samatlewiss I don't mind arguing it out civily, there's thousands of these threads put up weekly, and it helps blow off steam from both sides and place shit in perspective, as long as no insults or anger is put into it.

@Samatlewiss - The reason was to post to raise awareness to rebels that they can not be doing this as its bannable. But as you im not wanting to cause shit on the forums but im leaving it here. Hopefully some people will act on it , and not do what the people did.

if we wanna go down that round is doing a bank op as 6 / 8 people when there are 30 cops valuing your life?
Just please, i really do not care about this argument but the whole value of life shit is an absolute piss take and even had a rebel say it to me in RP the other day.

Cops value there lives all the time. backup is always a few mins away and most of the time its cso / pcso that mess up.

Did i specifically say ranks or names of officers who don't value lives? No.
