Quick Question regarding the New Life rule

Hi there 

Just a quick one, i am aware you are not allowed to go back to the scene of your own death and all that ?

But is the same true for cops ?

If not then i am gonna report a CSO DELETER (Some thing like that) For returning to the scene of his death and instantly attacking us, my thoughts were that you are not allowed to do this but i would like to make sure before i report him.

Rule 6: The New Life Rule

A new life means that your character has lost all previous memories. It still is the character you play, i.e. it is still part of the rebels or cops and it still knows all his friends. Your character just forgets what was leading to that death. 

The only exception to this is your wanted level, In our latest release bounty levels are now persistent over deaths to enable long winded police chases and bounty hunter chases... without this we wont have police and bounty hunters tracking down the person and the person being on the run for weeks/days.

 
Example: Matt, John and Ben are rebels who try to rob the bank. During the shootout with the cops, Matt and Ben die, John get's arrested and spends some time in jail. When they all meet again, they all would roleplay the situation in a way that they all tried to get away, because they realized that they couldn't handle the situation. Matt and Ben got away, though John got caught. If the players want to have the deaths involved, they might tell stories of other rebels that died there, who were with them initially. 
 
4A) A new life starts, when
  • Your character has been killed by a cop
  • Your character has died in a RP situation.
  • Your character has been involved in an accident

4B) A new life does not start when
  • Your character has been the victim of RDM/VDM (Unless inside of the RedZone)
  • You disconnect (end of session)

4C) You are not allowed to seek revenge when you die!
 
4D) You are not allowed to return within 1000m of where you was killed within 15 minutes after you have been killed!
 
So just based on these two rules seems this officer was in the wrong ?

It does not mention if a cop must conform to the same rules.
Can you tell me that ?

I would hope that you know the other rules seeing as you do not know this one.

 
He didn't state that he didn't know the rules he asked if it applied to cops as well as civilians

Not sure i stated that i didn't know the rules as you can see by my post i am aware of them just want to know if the same rules apply to the cops, coz currently i don't see many cops following them. Funny you comment as i have footage of you too not following rules. 

 
Prokill if you are talking abort the Thing in the airport then you shuld roleplay and dont shot on sight!

It would appear you're upset.

 
Server rules are the same for cops and civilians, however if it's a case of VDM or extenuating circumstances then it may have some reasoning. 

You could try contacting the player involved and asking... If it's possible to avoid a report and potential ban of regular players then it's always worth finding out what their reasoning is. 

EDIT: You guys should chat it out... Like I said, if it's VDM then that changes things as technically the person / people in question should not have died.

South of the main airfield we where there holding up a guy, he drove past stopped, we took cover.

He then killed me (no use of non lethal but that's fine) my team mates killed him he then spawned at the Highway Police station (+- 400m down the road and came right back shot at us again we killed him again, that's what happened the 2nd time but as mentioned this is not the 1st time he has done this.

Why troll every thread that concerns the conduct of the police. It shows a level of immaturity on a thread that has potential gravitas.

Personally I find it colours my view on how seriously the police take matters.

Trolling is fine in the right scenarios.

Have done will rather try sort it out then swing hand bags at each other.

come on..... after i saw you guys i turn around and hit a fence and broke my weel. and when im jumping out 100-200 meters away you start shotting at me.. offcouse im not using rubber bullet at that distance. 

i then spawn in athira and was going to pyrgos for at bank robbie and i see a police car at the checkpoint and start fowling it and again you guys start shotting at me so i return fire agin !

Prokill if you could send me a link to the video from before he turned up at the scene until he came back for the second time I can deal with it if you wish

 
Deleter lets rather not go there coz now you are blatantly lying, i have PMed you and will try sort it out via there then do it here.

I have a recording and 5 others that can tell you we DID not even Move from where we killed you. Simple put you returned within 1km of your death so yeah nuff said. Lets leave it there as mentioned in my PM to you i wont report it, lets not have it happen again thou
