Question about Teamspeak Notifications?

Was thinking that it would be really useful for me and many other people on TS. I wondered if there is a way or if its possible to make a plugin to allow us to monitor other channels. For example i have a group and a channel with prawn. When in game it is very hard to see if someone has joined our recruitment channel without actually looking. Is it possible to get an notification when people join certain channels?

you could get overwolf, which allows you to acces teamspeak in a overlay ingame, not exactly what you asked for, but should be okay till you figure something out?

does that show a different channel to the one I'm currently in?
